  1. thanks seitan_man, what you are saying makes sense! i surely won't base my diet on seitan alone but i will use it more often in the kitchen in the future
  2. right, i could eat a lot of tofu - but then there would be no space left in my tummy for all the other healthy stuff soy steaks are made of dehumidified soy protein. they look like that: http://veganfitness.de/images/product_images/popup_images/60_0.jpg
  3. thanks! would you agree if i said mixing as many proteins as possible is the best solution? like seitan, tofu, soy steaks, beans, green veggies, nuts, bread....
  4. true, but tofu "only" contains 10-15 gramms of protein per 100 gramm, which is not that much compared to the far cheapter seitan or soy steaks. nonetheless, tofu is included almost daily in my diet
  5. okay, whole foods - makes sense, but which whole foods? nuts for example are extremely expensive compared to processed stuff!
  6. hey! i'm just wondering if it is a good idea to eat "a lot" of soy steaks and seitan instead of having protein shakes. making seitan from scratch is cheap as hell, so are soy steaks. what do you guys thing about it? cheers
  7. hey! don't let yourself get demotivated. you're doing nothing "wrong". starting with machines is actually a good idea to get your body used to the new burden. as you have already told, you are going to switch to free weights sometime in the future. since you are planning to gain muscle mass and lose weight at the same time, doing a lot of cardio isn't that bad. remember: having a "bad" workout plan is always better than sitting around doing nothing
  8. haha, one of the photos got deleted because it violated photobucket's terms of use how sick is that?!
  9. sorry, but there wasn't enough seitan left for your "schnippes" -> viewtopic.php?f=26&t=16250
  10. have been on the road the past few days, so not too much sports - but a lot of eating http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture074.jpg
  11. this is erdfried. erdfried is made of seitan. in his former life, he used to eat meat all day long - so it was his fate to be reincarnated as vegan food. by letting some freaky vegan people eat his body while he was still concious, he can repent for his sins. a guy from the forums named "Manuel" started the procedure by cutting off his penis and eating it. another person from the forums (a quite lazy one when it comes to sports) documented the whole ritual. here are the photos: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture051.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/Picture053.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture057.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture058.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/Picture0601.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture062.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture064.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture065.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/fressen/Picture067.jpg yeah, vegan cooking can be fun indeed!

  15. the intro is a quote from "fight club", I think you know it (if you are familiar with the movie) i listen to holger burner all the time, doesn't have something to do with my routine. if you want to, i can translate the text for you
  16. today I went for a run (about 30 minutes) and used my lovely blackspot sneakers for it. never thought they would be that good for this purpose
  17. oh yes, and of course i don't want to hurt myself, too
  18. hey! no no, just plain cycling. i would be way to worried of hurting her
  19. 28.11 another tour with my bike. this time way longer. felt quite exhausted afterwards, but it was really nice. 0° celsius and the sun shining made me feel like it was spring after cycling for about 10 minutes
  20. 27.12. small tour with my bike. bought a new one in spring but didn't ride it too much. yesterday i heard a weeping from the cellar. so i went downstairs to check what it was. it turned out to be my bike who (yes, it's a person ) felt lonely down there i promised to take care of her from now on, and to demonstrate my good will I took her out for a ride. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/lelle83/ratt2.jpg
  21. maybe?! all we need would be plenty of stuff to give away! just kidding, i think some nice little gifts for the winners should be okay. any ideas?
