  1. Ok since this is my journal it is okay to answer my own post. Yesterday I did bench press and pull ups. Since it was unusually late in the evening I was really weak and did 2 reps less than last time. Now I know I have to train in the early evening to have full power...
  2. Ok, let`s stop discussing. Some like and enjoy those pointless threads and some don`t. That`s it. But here is one for Rob: We have 657 members on the board. And guess how many did not have one post? 430! I think many of those non-posters are spammers. Have a look at the member list in ordered by total posts: For example: spammer1 spammer2 spammer3 spammer2 I think there is the possibility of sending all those non-posters a personal-message and delete those who do not answer. If this doen`t help you should think about granting access to the forum individually.
  3. @Tarz: Stop highjacking this thread! If you want to complain about this kind of threads start another one. I think Alex and the others really deserve some acknowledgement for being so active on the board.
  4. So you still have to be convinced of doing it right now! That sounds like an easy job for our compassionategirl. She is not only beautiful but has very arguments...
  5. Since I am still here compared to daywalker I am proud to say: Congratulations Alex! You just
  6. Welcome aboard! Do you do some weightlifting, too? What about becoming vegan? If you want to keep drinking your milk, be aware of some very convincing and strong board members
  7. The Problem is that you just do not know this. Maybe for some Persons just a little milk causes diabetis by a autoimmune reaction. Others may develope arteriosclerosis throughout the years without even knowing it. Especially for cancer the amount of IGF-1 necessary for promoting cancer growth is very small because it is so powerful. The relation of milk consumption and many diseases of affluence is linear. That means the less milk you consume, the better for your health. There isn`t an amount which is save except zero. Nobody really knows how much is too much. And of course not only the cows are hurts: Their calves are hurt in many ways. The invironment is destroyed and this affects all of us.
  8. Maybe you need a new dealer? I can provide almost any kind of sugar.
  9. Since Hero, Daywalker and me are drugfree, I guess that "coffee-argument" doesn`t work work for us... The fact that you enjoy tea/coffee with sugar isn`t so bad , at least you only harm your own body...
  10. Hey Niels! Welcome aboard! How do you train? Seems like you are in a good shape...
  11. First of all: Welcome Evan! Nice to have you here and be sure: You won`t make any male friends as long as you are to charming
  12. The question is if you can control the weight. Balance control is more difficult for the dumbells of course (that is why injuries are more common) but if you have control the dumbells have the advantage of allowing movements in every direction and thereby enable you to lift the weight very "naturally". This is what spares the shoulders (not sure if the term is correct here).
  13. I will try to make that 1-rep-max as soon as possible. I will have to train the Barbell Bench Press because I usually avoid it to my take care of my shoulder.
  14. I made a little graph from my excel data sheet. The downs are due to the multiplication of weight and reps. For dips and pull ups I added BW to the additional weights. My partner and I are both making very good progression! Daywalkers plan really works! http://134.147.64.11/spomed/david/bilder/aktuell.jpg
  15. Welcome! Yoga seems to be quite popular among the forum-members. Do you do classic or power yoga?
  16. Without knowing you so well I really look forward havibg you here with us! Welcome!
  17. If I wasn`t so much loving my hometown working on the caymans and working out in Worls Gym sound like heaven to me on the first glance Nice to have you here!
  18. The website you refer to is from an oragnisation called Universelles Leben. It is a sect and there is a controversy going on about it in Germany for some years now. Here is the translation of the german wikipedia site about it. Of course I do not want to stop the conversation about jesus being vegan, but it should not take place at the basis of such an organisation.
  19. First of all I like to say that I second what CG and Attila wrote. But one more thing to this: For the short run that may be true. But looking at too-many-to-ignore statistics it is obvious that milk consumption (even in mostly lactose-tolerant countries like finland) on the long run is associated with all the so-called diseases of affluence (is that the right term?) like diabetis, heart disease, cancer etc etc.
  20. If I was shameless enough to say something about someone elses butt it would be this: "I would give a lot to see you falling on that beautiful thing"
