  4. I'm majoring in commerical music with an emphasis on recording and i'm going to own a farm/recording studio which is going to be like the indie version of Skywalker Ranch plus a farm sanctuary/rescue for animals.
  5. I like watching it on TV and seeing the riders get mauled. Call me a sick son of a bitch but i love when animals get back at their captors.
  6. Curried okra. Best damn curry i've ever had.
  7. I may be traveling to jolly old Portland this summer with my family. I requested that we vacation there. If not i'll just fly out myself or road trip with some friends.

  9. Crap, i noticed women all the time when i lift. I AM WEAKKKK!!!!!!! jk
  10. Supposedly Verizon is vegan but that may be BS.
  11. My friend who knows aikdo did admit that muay thai would be very hard to defend against(after we watched ong bak).
  12. I'm trying a month raw. Bought a ton of raw stuff at Whole Foods today(kale, chard, bok choy, brocolli, apples, kiwi, banana, melon) and a ton of raw nuts as well. Only non raw thing i had today was the vegan donut holes i bought at whole foods as well. They were in a huge display so i couldn't pass up the opportunity.
  13. It's not a mental illness it's a system of control that's indoctrinated in far too many cases. Christians, and well many Muslims too(never met a Jew who is like this) will try and convert you because they think they're right. It's built into their "duty" as a Christian or Muslim. It breeds fear and ignorance. Remember what Frank Herbert said? Fear is the mind killer. He was pretty much right on with that one. If religion was a personal thing that nobody talked to each other about, everything would be peachy in lots of different cases, be they personal(see Relationship forum) or worldly.
  14. I'm just waiting for some equation proving god doesn't exist. Oh the mass suicides it would generate. I'm an evil little agnostic.
  15. I guarantee you any black belt in Aikido can take out any other form. Believe me.
  16. I was just gonna figure something out myself.
  17. I plan on making a vegan form of the traditional mushroom soup we have along with vegan pirogi. Probably will be one of the few non-raw things i'm eating this break. Gotta get fit.
  18. Very good online vegan store for clothes if i remember correctly. May get a few things from here, a few things from vegan essentials, and a few things from food fight so i can support my fav stores.
  19. http://tinyurl.com/ybgl3g part 1 http://tinyurl.com/y6muer part 2 http://tinyurl.com/y2egjg part 3 http://tinyurl.com/sqlwp part 4 http://tinyurl.com/yywu4w part 5 The beginning of part 2 almost made me scream.
  20. Working out or hanging out with friends always helps me. Comfort foods= tofu, pasta, tofutti cuties, soy ice cream(basically anything with fats and oils ) My friends and i had a food orgy last night. I ate an entire can of garbanzo beans in a spinach and onion salad with balsamic vinagraitte and an entire Amy's roasted veggie pizza.
  21. Oh i really just liked the beginning part where he was doing all of the different stances and stuff. I find those to be really cool. I know it's all show in the movies i just find muay thai to be a very offensive and powerful art and weapon at the same time. BJJ is another very interesting martial art i'd like to try out. There are tons of gyms/dojos in chicago so i have plenty of chances.
  22. They may or may not be taught at the same club. I'll probably learn muay thai first and then learn aikido. It's not exactly cheap to take classes. Which parts of Ong-Bak have parkour? I've never even heard of that before.\ edit- OOooooo street running. Hehe i know exactly what that is and yea that's definitely one of the best chase scenes on top of that.
  23. After watching Ong-bak for about the 5th time now i'm decided that i'm going to study Muay Thai and Aikido. I'm very excited for this summer and i'm starting with my conditioning training and weight loss over my winter break.
