Pegesus
I change my playlist daily. However Pendulum always works good for me. Hold your Colour is my favorite but In Silico isn't that shabby either. Sticking with the electronic genre Hybrid will hit the spot every time. cubby2112
I don't usually listen to music in the gym anymore, but when I do, really angry industrial always does it for me: Skinny Puppy, a7ie, Suicide Commando, Psyclon Nine and so on.
Survivalism
Death metal. Suffocation, Decapitated, Aeon, Divine Empire, etc.
DCNINJA
Loud, lewd, and carnal. Today it was Nickelback and Buckcherry. Tomorrow probably Metallica. I have been loving Ozzy for running lately. It works for me, but I also know folks who listen to Bob Marley. So whatever floats your boat.

messiers31st
METALCORE! All Shall Perish The Faceless Suicide Silence The Tony Danze Tapdance Extravaganza Despised Icon I'd highly recommend putting these on before you squat
Im Your Man
Despised Icon another band from my area (Crypto mentioned Cryptopsy, from Montreal too) APM (A Perfect Murder) is pretty good too, and here's a listof other Mtl/quebec metal bands, rated by popularity. other good artists/bands : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_musicians_from_Quebec im not a fan of black metal at all, but i think wolves in the throne room are excellent. I listened to some of your suggestions: awesome ! But I listened also to some punk music from Marcina's choices... don't like it while training because its not as hardcore as metal gets, but its good for while riding on my bike, chilling or relaxing

BASSIS
METALCORE! All Shall Perish The Faceless Suicide Silence The Tony Danze Tapdance Extravaganza Despised Icon I'd highly recommend putting these on before you squat What is "METALCORE"? Is that what you call RoboCop's brother or something? I actually find I get a better workout when I listen to no music. Helps me concentrate more. Although old school Soundgarden, King Crimson (I don't know why) and Soilent Green used to be the soundtrack to my workouts.
messiers31st
nope, no robocop involved. metalcore's just another subgenre of metal. technically it's a mix of hardcore (breakdowns) with finger-lickin' metal sweeps and shreddin'.
duriandork
Hi Cubby, I noticed you said Psyclon Nine. I drum for them and just did a tour with them a few months back. It has been a while since I've been on here because I've been on the road a lot with them and other bands. Anyway, I thought that it was cool that you mentioned the band. Cheers, Jon
Guest
No one's mentioned Earth Crisis!!The most hardcore vegan militant band on the planet.Linkin park, Adema, disturbed and slipknot never failed to bring the intensity up to the level of a silverback on speed. All Earth Crisis' albums are on torrentz.com but buy them if you can.
