  1. Wow, that's impressive. I'm working up to those sorts of numbers.
  2. Wow, that's impressive. I'm working up to those sorts of numbers.
  3. Cool. I did a set of 40, which is a record for me. I then got up to a total of 107, which is the most I've done in one day so far. Not as good as you guys yet but I will get there.
  4. Yes, I'm really keen on training together. How about Saturday 25th? Would that be okay for everyone? Maybe around midday, so we get first choice at the buffet in Cassius Garten, then have a walk around Bonn, then train in my gym. How does that sound?
  5. Be good to meet you too Gorilla. Definitely : )
  6. Great. Eating all afternoon would be jokes. I'll look into cultural events. I will say to the staff at my gym that I've got some friends who might like to join. I should be able to get some "trial session" passes : ) So yes, wear/bring trainers and clothes that you are comfortable to train in : )
  7. Yeah we're all here to support you, Shelby. There's no way you should NOT be vegan against your will. I don't see any reason for it, either. Your diet looks very healthy and it's great that you have 6 meals a day. I personally don't take any "protein powder" drink things. Can you digest rice cakes? I find them easy to digest and wholesome too. I have a couple in between meals with a piece of fruit if I need an extra boost. I find that hummous satisfies my protein needs very well. Don't you find hummous even more satisfying than the VegaShake thing? I just had a big salad (spinach leaves, cucumber and cherry tomatoes) accompanied by home-made hummous. Brilliant stuff. I've started blending in some sprouted seeds to my hummous as well. It's the best. Can you digest rice milk? If you can then this is also a great recipe: about 300-500ml rice milk, 1-2 bananas, 2-3 prunes, ground hemp seed and golden linseed, crushed walnuts, a sprinkling of oatmeal (can you digest oats?). Give that a whizz in the blender. It's divine. On the packet of my oatmeal it says it strengthens the walls of the stomach. I find that it does me good. I don't know if oats contain gluten though... All the best. Keep posting to let us know how you're getting on. We'll find the best solution : )
  8. Yep just look in the mirror and take progress photos. Can you see your abs or not? Have you got bigger over all? Who cares about numbers on scales/fat monitors? The only numbers that you should be interested in are the poundages you lift in the gym: keep making them increase whilst maintaining perfect form and you will grow : )
  9. Brilliant! Did you see this webpage? http://members.tripod.com/~r.vaughn/artofcompression.html
  10. Sometimes I really not so humorous... (especially when writing in english!) OK then! Friday 24 March is now officially anounced as meeting date in Germany! Gorilla proposed BONN as the place to meet. For me that is perfect! But if someone has another idea feel free to post it here! @Gorilla: What would you say when and were exactly to meet? Of couse I will bring some "Die Prinzen"-music with me as an official soundtrack Let's say 15.00 at the main entrance of the train station. I'll wear this hat so you can recognise me: http://img327.imageshack.us/img327/1934/lookforthehat2ap.th.jpg The wonderful Cassius Garten restaurant is just across the road from the station.
  11. Yes that's right: Tesco has plenty of vegan stuff. I'm not in my homeland either. I'll be back in Oxford next year so hopefully we can meet up. Have a great time : )
  12. Deadlifts are the best. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/44282/ronnie_coleman_lift/ Get READEHHHHH.
  13. That sounds good too. Yeah, I've actually found it mixes even better if you add the chick peas like 50g at a time with an extra drop of water each time : )
  14. Yeah and even if you think you're not hungry, appetite comes with eating. Good work!
  15. Sure. Of course. However, what do you make of the fact that B12 is included in the nutritional information on this product, which is 100% sprouted linseed. Ah yes, I noticed this too: "Tesco’s raspberries now state quite clearly that 100g of raspberries contain 30% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin B12," (from http://www.living-foods.com/articles/b12issue.html). Maybe our fruitarian friend Bigbwii will have something to say about this. (Tesco is the main supermarket chain in England. On all its packaged foods there is detailed nutritional information.) I realise it is a controversial issue and I respect anyone who still chooses to take a pill/tablet to "be on the safe side".
  16. Friday 24 March would be good for me.
  17. They should have got Daywalker: http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/6515/superman5lp.th.jpg Actually Brandon Routh looks great too. Looking forward to the film.
  18. Oi Goldberg. I'm writing to ask you if you are in fact vegetarian because if you are not I'm going to come round and beat you up. In fact even if you are vegetarian I'm still gonna come and beat you up becasuse you should be vegan.
