  1. Um, no offence, but you don't know Potter: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/Portland/DSCF0005-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/Portland/DSCF0062.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/Portland/IMG_4384.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/Portland/DSCF0001-1.jpg
  2. I want one ! Where can I order? You all look amazing, but points go to Darth for the facial expressions and points to Ravi for looking so relaxed while flexing. Okay, to Robert, too because your looking cut!
  3. El Paso is only about that far away as well Maybe we should plan a meet-up. Anyone else want to join in for an Arizona get together?
  4. Hey Wobbly, good to see you here! Now where's that nice avatar of yours?!?
  5. Sad that you missed your race, but its funny that you broker her car (then managed to get off the road )
  6. Back in the day in my first martial arts school, when I had advanced to a higher belt, I started helping out with the kid classes that were right before mine. It was great fun and I really enjoyed it. One day I was helping this new girl learn how to do the splits (the front-back kind). I should have known better as I wasn't warmed-up, but I wasn't really going to push it as I started to decend into the stretch. About half-way down I hear a "pop, POP", and I fall a few inches, then a few more with each pop. Worst pain ever. Tore my hamstring muscle where it inserts towards to top (ie. just below my butt). Took months and months to heal and on a bad day that muscle will to this day start to hurt. The best part was that I sucked it up because I couldn't bring myself to leave the class and suffered the hour until it was over so as to not scare off the new little girl forever!
  7. Cool , just keep that good diet going and put those omni's to shame!
  8. Hee, hee, I'm scared of heights, too. I get dizzy and sick, but I'm quickly getting over it or I'm getting used to it might be more accurate
  9. Anyone in these areas interested in hooking up? I'm up for hiking, rock climbing, working out, hanging out, whatever! It would just be nice to be around other vegans now and then . And with more planning, this area could even include Phoenix as I've discovered its only a ~6 hour drive away! Not too bad a distance for a weekend gathering if you ask me.
  10. Hey, just got back from spending Spring Break in Arizona rock climbing! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/SpringBreak07/Day2_2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/SpringBreak07/Day2_9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/SpringBreak07/Day2_11.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/SpringBreak07/Day2_14.jpg Good times!

  13. This is just for Rob , hee, hee. Just kidding. My friend took this picture of me last fall, but I've only now just found it online. I LOVE rock climbing (I just wish I was better at it ) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/vegancrystal/climbing/krisboney1125067E0.jpg
  14. Oh come on people! There has to be more names and stories!!! Bring 'em on
  15. Okay, I've just noticed that many of us have nicknames for Robert. Me, I call him Robot Chicken 'cause when I was visiting for the VV last year, Daywalker asked him if he'd ever seen the show Robot Chicken (a stop animation from Cartoon Network), but Rob thought he was saying his name, but with an accent What do all y'all call him and why?
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Wow, 27, it's all down hill from here Robot Chicken , hee hee.
  17. Okay, I thought Loveliberate would appreciate this since he's lived here before, for others, it might seem more like an inside joke, but I find it all so funny ('cause its so true ): ------------- You know you're from El Paso when... You know that the only two seasons are summer and Christmas. You know it's the first day of Spring because the wind gusts hit 50 mph. (that was today) You know that it only snows if it was at least 75 the day before. You cringe whenever you see a CHIH MEX license plate. You can get sunburned and wind burned in the same hour. You can give a stranger exact directions to the Electric-Q disco in Juarez. You don't go near the Rio Grande. Ever. The only national monuments you have been to are White Sands and the Chamizal. You have a least four T-shirts that have "In loving memory" on the back. You have tried to fry an egg on the sidewalk in July. You invest a great deal of money in hair spray in the spring. The only thing you stocked up on for Y2K were tortillas. You know what all those letters on the mountain stand for. You can see three different states and two countries from your backyard. (yup, that's me) When you are lost in Juarez at night, you can always find your way back by looking for the star on the mountain. Seeing the Asarco tower gives you that warm and fuzzy home feeling. You have talked about leaving for about ten years, but you are still here. If there is no sun for several days in a row you think that it is the sign of the apocalypse. (haa, haa, so true for locals! *wipes tears from eyes*) You are mesmerized by the arches that turn colors on Interstate 10. You think that a Texan accent is a Spanish accent. You no longer associate bridges with water. You can say 110 degrees without fainting. You learn that a seat belt makes a pretty good branding iron. You discover that in July it takes only two fingers to drive your car. You discover that you can get a sunburn through your car window. You know the best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance. You actually burn your hand opening the car door. You get claustrophobic from simply looking at more than four trees. Your front lawn doesn't' have grass but rocks. At Thanksgiving right next to the cranberry sauce is a jar of chile. Your church or even your family puts up luminares. Tamales are an intsrumental part of Christmas dinner.
  18. Wow , nice arms David! . . . (and sexy photos, too . . . ).
  19. Whoa Robert, that is some serious posting, good going
  20. I'm just happy to finally see some more pics of DavidTarrFoster! We need some update photos now that he's been going to the gym with you Oh David, get off your butt and get some damn pictures up will ya?
  21. *lol* I don't see that happening any time soon. On another note, across town gas was only US$1.77 a gallon I just worked that out to: euro: 0.36/liter pound sterling: 0.24/liter Let the gas-guzzzling times roll (d'oh)
  22. Awesome, it sounds amazing there I like the idea of "car shuttle" as well. If we all fly in on the same day, it would be fun to meet-up at the airport, then get picked up later
  23. Good points MichaelHobson, but the interim would crush me as well as the auto industry !
