  1. Hey, who wants to start a daily food journal to keep in the Blogs/Training Journals section?

    Team 200 is on the loose!

     

    I'm in, the only time I've made progress is when I logged my food.

    My goal right now is different than yours.

    I want to get well under 200.

    When I'm lean then I'll worry about gaining weight.

  2. Hey Jason, that's awesome that you've dropped four inches around your waist. That's where I lost the most inches too (I lost 6-7 inches around my waist- 30-31ish to 24). When I lost weight, I also didn't look at a scale for nine months because I didn't want to be fixated on the number.

     

    Do you run on the treadmill because you don't like running outside? I used an elliptical for a year and a half before I started running outside, but eventually found it mind numbingly boring no matter how many movies I watched.

     

    But I think it really helped to develop my leg muscles, which made running outside easier for me at the start than it is for lots of people.

     

    Sorry Pamela, I missed your post at the bottom of the page until now.

    I actually just walk on the treadmill, not running yet.

    3 miles per hour, and I've been gradually increasing the incline.

    I prefer being outside, but the treadmill keeps me going at my speed.

     

    Eventually I would like to start running.

    Maybe next spring when the snow melts.

     

    I rip my rock and roll concert DVDs to watch.

    They aren't as boring as movies to watch more than once.
