Congrats on finishing the workout program.
I'm glad that you posted the link to that workout.
I'm not halfway through it yet.

Goal number 1:
Fit into the smallest pants that I own.
I wore these pants over 20 years ago and still have them.
A "like new" pair of Levi 501s
I haven't been able to fit into them for about 20 years.
Goal number 2:
Put on muscle while still being able to fit into the above pants.
Barbell Bench Press 315 pounds at least once.
Squat: 20 reps of 200 pounds by the end of Feb.
Deadlift: Not sure where I'm at with this, so I'll just say 400 pounds.
Be able to do multiple pullups, I can't do any right now.

I didn't make it until after 10 AM
Just spent some time on the treadmill

A)
On the weekend I don't set my alarm.
I usually wake up about 6 or 7 hours after I fall asleep.
B)
I think that I need less sleep now than my SAD days.
But I slept so poorly back then it's difficult to compare.
C)
I don't train nearly as hard as most people here.

Today is squat day, so I'll do at least that.
My gym closes at 8:00 tonight so I'll need to squat early.
After that, I'll probably just play a computer game or watch a movie.
BORING

I didn't do any treadmill this morning
Instead I did benchpress at noon.
I haven't benched in quite a while.
I used the machines for flat, incline and decline bench.
I'm really weak again.
Hopefully I did it right and will have sore pecs tomorrow.

Richard...that really looks like its from a porno.

That sounds like it is from a porno.

That's alot of cardio .
What is your diet like?
Good luck with the weight loss.
I wish I had the drive to do more cardio.
In July and August I averaged 2.5 hours per day.
I try to be as raw as possible.
If it's cooked it is something like stir fry veggies or some rice.
I started that exercise a month ago. Next week is my last week on it. My five rep max at the beginning was at 150 (im a beginning squatter) so my first few squat days were really really easy.
Now that I only have 3 squat workout lefts, 140, 145, and 150 I am dying. Yesterday I am puked.
Fun times
I got the 20 rep idea from one of your posts.
I think that post got lost in the site crash.
I'm going to just keep going up 5 pounds every 3 days until I can't get 20 reps.
So far they've been easy, I can still do a few extra reps.
I'm going to try for 30 reps X 125 pounds tonight.
I'm doing these squats as deep as I can.

I only had time for 25 minutes on the treadmill this morning
I kept hitting the snooze button even though I wasn't tired.
Squat Night: 125# x 25 reps
60 minutes on treadmill after squats
-
40 minutes on the inclined treadmill this morning
60 minutes on the inclined treadmill this evening
-
2 bananas for breakfast.
80 minutes on inclined treadmill
-
Had family in town and went out of town for a few days for the holidays.
Tonight I did squats: 120# x 25

That's a great test result joel
2 years ago my total cholesterol was over 250.
Last summer I had it tested and it was 160.
I had 3 bananas 10 minutes before they drew blood this time.
I was donating blood and they didn't want me to be fasting.
My blood pressure is also higher than it should be.
I've still got quite a bit of excess fat to lose.
Fat loss is my primary goal right now.
I'm confident my numbers will end up where they should be.

I've had 2 milestones that were big days for me.
First was the day I benched 225 once.
Second was squatting the 45# bar 100 times.
My current goal is squatting 200# 20 times

2 bananas and an orange for breakfast
100 minutes on the inclined treadmill
-
3 bananas for breakfast
Morning Treadmill: 60 minutes, 3 mph, 10 incline
-
Tonight was squat night.
After a couple warmup sets I did 115 x 25
I did an extra 5 again this workout.
One step closer to 200 x 20

Hi preacher, welcome to the forums.
What do you eat? It is nearly impossible to not get enough protein.

2 bananas and off to the gym.
Morning treadmill: 30 minutes, 3 mph, 12 incline
I overslept a little bit, kept pushing the snooze, so I raised the incline a bit.
I think the coffee is out of my system now, gotta keep it that way.
