I have an Msc in Computing science. That part of my education didn't give me much of critical thinking. Today education in unis factories for future producers of stuff. The teachers tells you stuff, you remember it and and then you write it down on the exam. I'm still working at the uni and can tell you that I've met professors who doesn't get it. It is apparent from your answers that you haven't critically analyzed the data that you derive your knowledge from.

I don't believe it is my duty to explain how the scientific method works on a web forum. It should be taught in school. All the debates in the raw food forum (and in other places in this forum) regarding health are between those who understand the method and those who don't. To me the knowledge of how it works is the most precious knowledge I have and almost all of what I do in terms health, environment and awareness in general derives from this fundamental knowledge. I'd feel crippled if I didn't understand it.

Can I please see this mountain of evidence! I would really like to because I've tried finding scientific studies done on raw food diets but I've fallen short every time. Whenever you try finding something on the internet on raw food there's always just a hippie talking about enzymes and shit. So please provide the evidence so I can read through it and then we can have a debate. I'm really looking forward to discussing raw food on scientific grounds since we've never done it before. I'd like to get in on that debate too . You made the claims, now you back it up. Remember it is not up to us to debunk it but for you to prove it.

This is basic thermodynamics. A calorie is a measurement of of work, like Watt or Joule. For us who has had the privilege of free school this should not be this complicated. This is ridiculous.
