How many grams of protein intake recommended
xveganjoshx replied to LrnWithFn's topic in Health & Nutrition Programs
Ryan, your posts are always so thorough and well thought out. A high protein vegan diet has worked for me, continues to work for me, allows me to feel great, perform well in the gym, and sculpt my body towards what I want it to look like. -

I agree the only problem is that I resolve all of my fights with makeup sex which might be hard to do over the internets -

YOUR not him. Stop projecting your value system onto other people. It's narcissistic and judgmental. (was that a judgment? ) I'm not projecting my value system onto anyone, in the way you probably do with rapists, kidnappers, thieves, and the like (narcissistic and judgmental, then, aren't you?). I'm simply making an observation. I don't have any problems with rapists or thieves, the only group I don't like are self-righteous vegans. /sarcasm -
If I wasn't being clear, yes, I completely agree with you. So many people make that leap and I don't think it was ever fair to him.I agree with you guys. On a related note, I've been really enjoying hearing his music this weekend at the clubs. We danced to thriller last night, it was fun times.

I completely understand what you're saying. I think being "mainstream" and vegan can be a very powerful thing. In fact, it's the only thing that's going to spread veganism en masse. Think of how the green movement is co-opting "mainstream society". There's pluses and minuses to it, sure, but in the end it's spreading a message to the most massive chunk of society that will promote the biggest change. -

Can we get an online icon to become vegetarian for 30 days?
xveganjoshx replied to mikkei's topic in General Discussion
I voted this afternoon. It was at 11%. The leading one was about 14%, and only about 200 more votes or so. If everyone voted on this board voted, we could probably push it to be the winner. That's assumining that the page has been up long enough that the vote percentages have leveled out, and several other statistical things, but I digress. I think the 30 seconds it took to vote was worthwhile. -

I'm getting tired of you feeling the need to take a dump in every thread by hijacking the topic. http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb25/ToyMachine1o1/STFU-Arnold_Schwarzenegger.jpg HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA -

Duluth is like 90 min north of me. I can probably come out if I'm in Georgia. -
Maybe they don't want to "make a difference". Maybe they just want to live their life and be.

I've been listening to alot CRASS and [HUM][ANS] lately. What I've noticed is that most rap, r and b, and rock is about relationships and dating. I'm surrounded by that stuff all the time so I enjoy hearing about other topics in the music I listen to. -

What? I've been a Crass fan since I was 15 years old. I'm 40 now and I dont even know about this. I used to have all their albums - even have a Crass tattoo. What the hell! Yep, it's there. I have the Feeding of the 5000 on vinyl too. It's cool. What I love about "Christ the Album" is the way every track starts off with a couple of sound samples. It really sets a mood for the songs. Awesome @ CRASS tattoo! Is it the band symbol?
