  5. Vega brochure 30% of the protein in the powder is raw. That's all I can find. The whole food energy bars are 100% raw The vibrance bars are 85% raw Not sure about the oil or smoothie infusion.

  7. Thanks, I didn't know the exact law. I figured it was something like the " fat-free " label nonsense. Someday there will be a non-dairy cow's milk in the supermarket.
  8. Back when I drank a lot of coffee I noticed this in our office. All the " non-dairy " creamer had in bold Allergy Warning Contains Milk at the bottom of the label. I just went back and looked, now it doesn't say Non Dairy on the front label.
  9. I know nothing about Watchmen, but I'm going to see it tomorrow evening. Haven't even seen a preview of it. My young cousin wants to see it. He has similar tastes in movies and TV, so I'm sure I'll like it.

  15. Hey Robert. Glad to be the topic of occasional conversation for you Portlanders I wish I had more time in Portland, someday, maybe I can move there. For sure, I'll spend more time there in the summer 2009. You young guys can show me how it's done in the gym. My training has been very sporadic. I keep using the cold and snow as an excuse. It's getting warmer so I won't be able to use that for much longer. The temp here was almost 50 today, felt like spring. See you this summer.
  16. Easy (lazy) day today, no lifting. Fruit smoothie for breakfast Cooked a big pot of beans, lentils and veggies today. I used fresh carrot and beet juice instead of water, made a big difference, much better. 2 bananas before going to gym 60 minutes on treadmill An orange in the evening
  17. 2 bananas for breakfast 30 minutes on treadmill Veggies and rice for lunch Orange for a snack 1 liter of ABC juice some raisins Evening Workout Just and easy lifting night, some bicep PL curls 45 minutes on the treadmill
  18. Hi Dani, Actually I don't feel hungrier. Probably because I eat healthier when I'm trying to shed the fat. I don't count calories, just eliminate the bad and eat as much of the good as I want. I need to keep these better habits during the rest of my life. It is too easy for me to fall back to my old bad habits. I'm an old dog trying to learn some new tricks. I really need to keep adding more veggies into my diet. Now I'm going to buy some carrots and make 1/2 gallon of juice for tonight. Carrots, apples and beets.

Sunday Breakfast: 2 bananas Morning treadmill: 60 minutes Lunch: Falafel Dinner: Green smoothie Workout: 10 deep squats, toes 4 inches from wall 20 front squats, only 65 pounds, my wrists are still wimpy 10 overhead squats with a light bar, too easy 5 overhead squats with my olympic bar The bar came forward a bit on the last one so I stopped at 5 2 bananas Evening treadmill: 40 minutes Monday Fruit smoothie for breakfast Cooked Veggies for lunch 2 bananas in the afternoon Bench Press 2 more bananas 50 minutes on treadmill
