  1. Oh heck, I'm twice your age & I still just want to have fun! The great thing about having fun when your a tad bit older than early 20's is now you have the funds to do it. This is going to make me sound like a horrible person.....and I'm NOT, I promise....but I don't really mind using the funds of whatever boy thinks I'm cutest to have a good time I've been very fortunate that the boys that have caught my interest in recent months have been well funded.....yikes, I'm embarrassed to admit this. I might have to delete later..... ANYWAY. I picked up some melatonin today, I'm looking forward to giving it a shot. (Phew, good recovery)
  2. Hehe. PST is 2:09am right now. I'm a bit of a night owl.
  3. Down in Sacramento this October....
  4. I don't even know what to say....I just saw Tyson Beckford and hit reply....... SO beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, beatiful. He's a BEAUTIFUL man. Ok that's all. Really. I had nothing to say whatsoever, I just got a little excited when I saw that name
  5. I went bungee jumping twice, about 4 years ago, and LOVED IT. Base jumping, bungee jumping, sky diving.....all things I want to do, in all different parts of the world. Weird, I know. But it's so fun!!!! I'm an adrenaline junkie
  6. i wish that was true No you don't, TRUST ME!!!! You're way better off on the smaller end of things......anyway......
  7. hehe.....my biggest weakness in life is an eloquent man. Big vocabulary, proper grammar, a sophisticated delivery, and I am DONE. Anyways.....uh... nice gym Jonathan
  8. Thank you EVERYONE, what great tips. I've been meaning to watch "What the Bleep do we Know" for awhile now...I'm always very behind on movie watching, but this one has come with high recommendations and accolades, so it's high on the list. I try sooooo hard to prioritize and time manage, but I think part of the problem is I'm only 22 and I still just want to have FUN!!!! Such a vicious cycle...I work hard all week, then when the weekend comes I am awake from Friday morning till Sunday night. I'm going to systematically enlist all your tips until I find something that helsp me recover, so it doesn't take until Friday again before I feel rested from the previous weekend. Speaking of.....shoot, tomorrow is Friday! Time to play!!!!
  9. height: 5ft 11 3/4" weight: ~175lbs Topher, are you sure? I swear you're taller than that. I'm about 5'11" and you seem like more than 3/4in taller than me.....
  10. I could do that for ya if you'd like....or at least supervise. I promise, it'll take all of about 2.25 min and you'll be good to go.
  11. Where's the difference? Proper grammar vs. not.....personally, I'm quite a stickler for it in face to face conversation but let it slide in my posts
  12. My bags are packed!! What's sad is meth is becoming almost as common..... I work at Ross (discount retail clothing, if you're not familiar) and we get SO many meth heads in. (Stealing, not buying). It's sad....you can spot them a mile away. Pot is innocuous in my mind, but meth.....that stuff is scary. Especially the labs
  13. Here it is, 1:45am, again, and I have class at 8. I should be sleeping!!! I was doing fine the first week of school, but a crazy, 100% sleepless weekend has completely screwed up my sleep schedule again. Anyone have any good suggestions for getting sleepy when you're not???
  14. I have a feeling you're right.....but I'm rooting for the Seahawks anyway
  15. How funny, I don't smoke it but know plenty of dealers, and you do but don't. Irony We need to connect, girlfriend! (There's a reason for these sunglasses!) Hehehe you crack me up! You'd love Corvallis, and even more so Eugene. Eugene's entire reputation as a city revolves around how they're all a bunch of pot smoking hippies! Corvallis isn't much different, just a few more hicks thrown into the mix! You can practically by marijuana at the grocery store here it's so common:D
  16. I would agree it's probably not the healthiest thing I could do. That's an understatement. It's extremely hard on your liver and like CollegeB said, it could kill you and not after years and years of indulgence. We are talking quick. I really hope you don't do that anymore. Very dangerous thing to do. I should clarify, this is not something I do with regularity. I had quite a stockpile of prescription drugs that I didn't take when I had 2 knee surgeries, and oral surgery (wisdom teeth). So, I used some of that for fun myself, and sold a good portion of it. I pretty much don't like to pay for ANYTHING, so I won't go out looking for drugs of any type ( I don't even like to buy my own alcohol) but if someone has something....I'm not opposed. I have faith in my liver to be able to recover from the handful of times I'm really hard on it since I'm pretty nice to it most of the time.
  17. I'm so far behind on introductions....... I'm sorry! Welcome!
  18. I hope so, cuz it scares the sh*t out of me. For some reason I'm not scared of doing it myself, but I care about him and I get scared!
  19. Seattle, wheeeeeee!!!! now I just HAVE to make sure I get superbowl sunday off from work. I always work sundays, and if I have to on the superbowl.......aaaaah! I'll just be crying all day
  20. impressive. i'm a bit the opposite. i can speak it fairly well, but reading and writing...ehhh, not so much. i used to be semi-fluent in writing, reading, and speaking spanish. but lack of practice and im back to square one. heh It was my major when I first got to college. Then it became my minor, then after working almost exclusively in spanish for a year and a half, I dropped it altogether despite being fluent. Now, I've lost a lot of my skill, but realized it really would be good to have so I'm looking at incorporating it back into my schooling again somehow.
  21. I graduated HS in '02....went straight to university, did fabulously until I got dumped by my older, long distance boyfriend and my little 19 year old brain couldn't handle it. Got back together with him, off and on for a looooong time, this drama included me leaving university, coming back to community college in my home town, getting a full time job and living on my own, more, more, more drama with the boy, finally breaking it off right before we moved in together, and packing my bags and moving back to university to heal and move on with my life, which is where I currently am, at age 22. I say this BECAUSE....I went from honor roll high school student to honor roll college student, to damn near a college drop out, to fucking my grades up completely when I went back to community college and now having to work my tail off to make sure my GPA will allow me into grad school, and also figuring out when I'll be able to graduate with my bachelor's....it's still awhile off. You aren't alone!!!! And you can do it. Just keep focusing and don't get down when you fuck up, cuz if you're anything like me, you will. Don't give up....just remember what your goals are!!!
  22. I imagine that's where defining responsible comes in, on behalf of the breeders and the owners. I suppose I could scan and post the contracts that both my parents and my sister have from when they bought their dogs....they're quite explicit, and of course my parents/family would honor them if for some reason they weren't able to keep the dogs. Again Violet, I'm not heartless, but I'm also not particularly emotional....I don't think I see things quite the way you do
  23. I think this is the strangest thread ever started here, and that's saying a lot!
  24. To reiterate: Right or wrong, not everyone will accept a shelter puppy. Status symbol, specific size, temperament needs, whatever, some people are looking for specific things in a pet. These people will never get one at a shelter! Pet stores are oh so wrong. They don't care about where the animals come from, how they're treated, or whether they're healthy or even inbred. The breeders that are showing their animals, for the most part, would never harm them. They're far too valuable monetarily, and most breeders are also attached to them. They do things like background checks on potential owners, draw up contracts to guarantee the animal will never be in a shelter, and enforce spaying/neutering after any intentional breeding is done. I don't have a problem with this, as the people that get their animals from these types of breeders are the same aforementioned people that wouldn't go to a shelter anyway! Plus, these breeders maintain breed diversity and protect against genetically inherited diseases caused by inbreeding, etc. I do have a heart My animals, again, are from the shelter. I also understand that not everyone sees things my way, and there are shades of grey in the world.
