Thanks y'all. Airlines are weird - they said they cancelled that flight because of a power outage from a t-storm that went through last night. Ok, yet how do they explain every other plane that managed to make it through? Anyway, we REALLY look forward to getting there tomorrow and making up for lost fun! I also got "attacked" by a group of 4 once as I walked by a house that I later learned was a mafia house. They chased me into a field, knocked me down, and proceded to lick me until I was covered in slime. I've been a big fan ever since. Good for you bb, that's awesome that you do that for them!

Hey Robert- Please check your PM's if you haven't already. Our flight got cancelled , so we (more accurately United Airlines) re-booked us on the same flights, but for Friday. More details in the PM. There is a list of vegan and non-vegan beers and wines somewhere - I remember seeing it after I learned that guiness is not vegan . I'll see if I can find it. From what I remember, many of the US brewed beers were vegan, while many of the Euro brewed beers were not.

I'm sure others may chime in, but I say don't worry about it. You get plenty, and you feel great - I think your body will tell you if you need more.

Are you sure you didn't shave your head just so you could look like a beautiful female version of that "head-butting Frenchman"? The paint is so cool. On your back it's hard to tell if the shadows look like muscles, or if your muscles look like shadows. I suspect it's both - that the artist used paint to highlight the musculature of your back. Very cool.

Good point, I too wondered about tampering with the results. I don't know how the testing is all done - but I'd certainly be suspicious if I were him.

I hope Landis is cleared, and if he is, it's going to open a huge can of worms about testing. I just can't imagine he'd be stupid enough to - not in this tdf where all the others were banned.

We're excited to get there, meet everyone, talk shop, eat at places where we don't have to order creatively. You could count on 3 fingers the places near us where you can actually order a vegan meal without saying "hold the (insert tortured animal product here)". Thank (insert deity here) for Thai food!

Q: What do they call the person who finishes at the bottom of their med school class? A: Doctor. I've had my share of crazy/weird doctors, but I just had a physical a couple weeks ago with a new doctor who I really liked. He went through my medical history (including my diet and exercise regimen), and my blood test results and said (as a healthy-eating vegan) "the best health recommendation I can make to you is to wear your seatbelt." He also said that many of the tests doctors perform are unneccesary, and if looked at statistically, actually cause more problems than they uncover.

Awesome. Good for her. I took a hard fall 2 weeks ago on a tricky drop and haven't been back at it since. Trying to muster up the courage (now that my bruises have healed). But if she can do it, I can too. I think. Maybe. We'll see.

We recently lost our husky Indy. We've all been sad, but our GSD/Rottie mix Amy was really down in the dumps. So we decided to get her another friend, and make some room at the shelter. The 3 of us fell for Kia right away. She is a beautiful red Siberian with light blue eyes. Can you guess how old she is?
