That's true. The issue that is facing so many cultures is that they will not only change their livelihood, but their cultural lifestyle if they want to survive. Global warming is a big issue as well, and for example in the United States, people are at some point going to have to give up their cars. Not because there aren't zero emission alternatives, but because their production will still produce the toxins we don't need and there won't be any inexpensive, practical way of doing it that still won't hurt the environment. I'm not really preventing a solution to this particular issue, but I agree that everyone will need to adapt in some fashion in the near future to their convenient and traditional lifestyles if we all are to survive, the seal hunt is no exception.

Just watched Pumping Iron again on DVD. Very funny. The scene where Arnold's having breakfast with Lou Ferigno and he says "you arrived out of shape?...I can't believe I've had six Mr. Universe titles...SIX...can you imagine?" Classic... Fun to watch again after so long.

INFUSED!!!!!!! Just got it, opened it, made an awesome smoothie. My wife didn't know what happened. I was completely focused on getting infused. I'll explain to her later. Tastes great with the bananas. I added a little flax oil even though the Vega has flax seeds as part of its ingredient list. I like having a little oily consistency. I'll probably add my chocolate Vega to the smoothies as well. Not sure why I didn't think of it before. Great work, Brendan and Sequel! And Robert for turning me onto it! Now, back to infusion...I feel like doing 50 pushups...

Oh, here it is...see you all when you get to Portland! Maybe VV08 we can do in Santa Cruz. You folks would love it here. Lots of traffic in the summer, though. Very vegan friendly and tons to do around the area. Except skiing and whitewater rafting.

Ok, this thread hasn't been updated since February! Well, I'll be there with partner and kids in tow. We'll just be staying in Portland and checking it out so we'd like to meet everyone during the Portland days. Is the plan still to do Mount Hood then end in Portland there? I can work it around that.
