  1. ahah the he-man pic. I really wanna dress up like he-man one time for fun and take a picture. yeh I just decided to start training abs too. I never trained em back then, I just maintained a low body fat %. the hard part now is trying to keep them showing while I'm bulking up. cause im gaining a lil bit of fat with my muscle. thanks. I still have a lot of muscle mass to gain before I compete. I still feel really really small. and I want to represent vegans well!
  2. hey you! welcome to the boards
  3. yes this is really me. lol. and those are my abs. I have an "ABS" article on this site, on my own "TALK WITH TOPHER" column. whenever Rob gets the chance to put it online. so you might have to wait a lil bit to see it.

  5. dude, I eat so many jumbo smart dogs , its not even funny. 2 packs a day. 170g protein. 800 calories. $7.00
  6. that was seriously so awesome. to hear you talk and everything. congrats on the ad. I hope to one day be able to make a difference like you have. go TEAM vegan!!
  7. omg awwww. ::gold medal::: that was such a cute story. congrats dude on a job well done!
  8. I see us as a team. a team to push veganism into the mainstream of bodybuilding. I'm all about inspiring others to work hard, as many have inspired me, such as Rob so let the games begin! hehe nothing like friendly competition
  9. im pretty sure there are vegan creatines. I never checked into it. cause either way I dont believe in supplementation like that (for my body). I dont knock those who do supplement. I sometimes take a multivitamin with B-12. thats it. cause i dont need a mono relapse if I get a b-12 defficiency.
  10. no way. never have and never will. I get all my energy from food sources.
  11. hey man. good to have ya over here
  12. I went a semester to college for athletic training. ive seen a lot of shoulder injuries and had to do a report on one. however I learned more on my own dealing with injuries than in school. you can do cryotherapy (biofreeze), ice it, stretch it etc. if youre looking for natural anti-inflammatories....try BROMELAIN. it comes from pineapples and is a natrual anti-inflammatory and helps in digesting protein more effeciently. the best thing honestly is rest. and that means a lot of time off. I had to take 6 months off cause of tendonitis. there is never an easy solution to solving soft tissue injuries. other than rest, proper stretching, ice, and strengthening the muscles around it, theres not much else you can do. eat healthy, and think positive. keep that immune system up too.
  13. anytime man. I want to help promote a healthier stronger image for vegans just as much as you do. I think youre doing a lot for the vegan community. the least I can do is help support your website. I dont know if I will be the most shredded guy...as my abs are slowly going on vacation. but thats good cause Im finally starting to bulk up. And I know Im not the biggest guy. I just wanna do whatever I can to help show others that you can be vegan and healthy. however, I hope in 2 yrs to be huge and shredded. that be awesome! I cant wait to see how much you'll gain in 2 yrs. heh.
  14. cool thanks Robert. this will be my first time there. kinda nervous. this will also be my first vegan festival. I plan to represent veganbodybuilding.com and hand out lots of cards.
  15. thanks. I know im defined now. but when i bulk up more, i am bound to gain fat with it. cause i know i just gained a lil bit.
  16. I measure myself in the nude on an empty stomach in the morning. before vegan: 140lbs after vegan, last picture taken: 160lbs my current weight: 165lbs everytime I gain a significant amount of weight, I will post it in here. my goal is to get to 175lbs by the end of the summer. my ultimate goal is to eventually get to 195lbs, and then shred down til I am ultra defined for comps/
  17. http://www.veganfestivals.org.uk/ June 18, 2005. please check the website out. I will be in attendance in affiliation with www.veganfitness.net Realfood Magazine, and a few others. so if you happen to go and you see me around, dont be shy. come on over and say hello.
  18. that's pretty awesome. Oregon has lots of free concrete skateparks too....something PA doesnt have. I used to skateboard...some heelflips, stair gaps and boarslides and stuff. nothing too fancy. good to have ya on the boards!
  19. http://www.myspace.com/oubliette Oubliette- an all vegan straight edge metalcore band There are plenty of vegan bands in the metalcore scene. Bands like Heaven Shall Burn, Remembering Never, etc. this record label has all vegan bands: http://www.newedenrecords.com/bands.php
  20. hehe okay. I dont see that happening anytime soon though. its not always the easiest to find a sxe vegan girl. I wish I had a job. I'd help ya out with getting some clothing made and stuff.
  21. I wish I had a girlfriend so I could buy her those shorts!
  22. same here. and at the end if says rotator cuff exercises are bad...but then has a link to an article that explains how to do them and stuff. my thing is this: if you do an exercise and it doesnt cause you any problems, and you see results then keep at it. I do flys and they feel great.
  23. when I was little I was in International Gymnastics. played Soccer for over 10 yrs in a youth league. I was really good at it. baseball a few years. I use to ski for about 10 yrs. then switched over to snowboarding for about 8 years. I still snowboard just not as much. aggressive rollerblading, skateboarding, (dont do either anymore) beach volleyball and bad mitton for fun. I basically have put all sports aside, as I dont want to injure myself anymore. I just bodybuild. but I wouldnt mind playing volleyball sometime soon.
