You are right they are getting rid of plastic bags once they run out of their stock. I went there today and there was a sign that said all plastic bags should be gone by april!!!! YAY!

I'm trying to get my parents to stop using plastic/paper bags, and its not working very well. My question is, and I've been meaning to ask for a long time, we end up using all the bags as trashbags or in some way recycling them all. Is that having STILL having as much of a negative effect on the environment? I even bought them like 10 expensive shopping totes, but they are so addicted to the "convience" of the bags.

Its hard to be brutal, if we dont know what your goals are? I think its great that you are active daily, and I'm sure in time you will be in amazing health. Not knowing your goals I would try to add 10 minutes of cardio before you start lifting, if you continue working out 7 days a week.

Now that Kucinich is out of the picture, I'd be interested in knowing what people here think about Mr. Ron Paul.

Although I think this is great news, I am also confused. Didn't George Bush's Congress pass the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act which states ‘‘(a) OFFENSE.—Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce, or uses or causes to be used the mail or any facility of interstate or foreign commerce— ‘‘(1) for the purpose of damaging or interfering with the operations of an animal enterprise;...blah blah blah...will be held guilty and charged as a terrorist. . So how did this happen with this bill in place? Is fur not considered an animal enterprise?

I completely understand where you are coming from, but as an EXTREME minority myself, I think it is obvious when something is a joke vs slander. Even when some assholes joke about Veganism, you have to be able to draw that line or else you'll end up attacking everyone. Factory farms are real places with real people. They probably look at AR people in the same light. The only reason Kazakhstan would get offended if it was true. If none of it is true, they should be able to calmly and rationally display their disposition. You're saying you know that Kazakhs aren't offended by things that aren't true? No, Im just saying they shouldn't, but I guess nationalism does make people highly offended by anything.
