Hey everyone...I just wanted to share my before pictures and some of my stats. I have been a vegan for a year and in the last 2 months lost touch with it and was more so a vegetarian. I felt awful and my emotions were all over the place. 2 months not begin a vegan and my whole world fell apart. I finally made the connection and I am back to veganism and picking up where I left off. My dream is to compete in a figure competition as a vegan and I am starting now! Not sure when/if ill be competing this year. Like last year, I should be show ready by Spring just in case i feel like doing a show last minute. I love the feeling of being lean and waking up in the morning and seeing my 8-pack without even flexing(almost there completely). Hey guys! My name is Tom and been Vgean just over a year now. I thought I would share my new body and fitness transformation. I have lost 12kg 112 to 100 kg in the last ten months. I have set myself a challenge to get to 92kg or 16% fb by 5th of March ( my bday ) if I hit it I will shave my beard or if not I keep it until I do lol! Hey everybody! I am new to the site...or rather the last time I was here was ages ago. I am happy to be back and to meet you all. There is so much great content within this forum. I am posting my current pic - sorry it's headless, but it was taken from a phone camera (limited frame space.) I am currently trying to get a bit bigger. My chest is about 40" right now (if I measured right) and I would like to put a few more inches on that number. Ok, so I think I'm ready to post some pics here. Here's a quick run-down of what I've been up to: I started training for a marathon in Jan of this year. Basically, have been running about 3-5 days a week until April 26 when I completed the OKC marathon!...so happy about that. These pics are from around late-Feb. I was obviously more focused on running, but still lifting some weights about 2 times a week. Now that the marathon training is over and I've been able to lose some body fat, I'm looking to add some more muscle weight. I'm probably going to start in with my running again in about a month or so, but I'd like to use the month of May to really get a good weight…

Long time lurker, first time poster. Vegan for 5 months, vegetarian for about 7-8 years. Here's a quick rundown of what my training is like and what my goals are... I lift weights 5 days a week. I put alot of emphasis on bodyweight resistance exercises because I feel that gives me the most strength and power. I love strapping on a bookbag full of dumbbell plates and doing various forms of pushups, pull-ups, chin-ups, and dips. I began eating vegan about a month or so before beginning the program. It definitely changed my life and the greatly added to the drive I have to pursue even more ambitious goals of mine. My starting weight was 155 and end weight was 145. I'm about to begin the program yet again, as soon as I recover from a recent illness, and am expecting even greater results. I only had access to 25 and 35lb dumbells but I have an entire weight training setup now and hopefully wont be as 'boney' this time around. I figure I'll use this forum to document my progress in beginning a low fat vegan diet, something similar to Dr. Esselstyn's or Dr. Mcdougall's. I began a fairly compliant vegan diet in July 2011, dropped 30 pounds to my current 200lb. My lipid profiles says that I'm heart attack proof, so all is good on that front, but now I need to get the weight down to at least 170lb. Hey folks, thought I'd join the fun and games and post a few photos up. I started lifting on and off since high school, and went from 125 lbs to about 150. I was really uncomfortable with how I looked, cause my torso was way thin and I had kinda big legs from running track. Now I'm a little more comfortable, on my way to being where I'd like to be. I slack off every now and then, but lately I revamped my diet to more vegetables and whatnot, and lifting smarter. I don't have my before pics, but i've been training 5months now, though i got sicks once and i had to take pause. First months i was mostly learning how to do exercises right way. My target is to get bigger mass and muscles, and prove that i can get good muscles by not eating meat, i am really annoyed that everyone around me says, that i won't get far without eating meat. Could you please suggest what i need to concentrate more on?
