I still haven't fully read the new long post about our direction. In time I'm sure I will get to it. For a while I've been thinking of reducing the amount of forums we have. After all we have 32 sections! That is more than any other forum I've seen. The reason we had so many was to keep everything in very organized categories to make it easy to find what you were looking for. Lately I've heard that it makes it hard to find things because there are so many possible sections it could be in. I've thought about doing away with the Yoga section and putting it with martial arts and maybe Endurance and Other Sports can go together. I'm sure there is a way to combine R…

I just watched an interview on Meet the Press with Retired General Colin Powell former Secretary of State who served in the George W. Bush administration from 2001-2005. Gen. Powell said he will vote for Senator Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone!!! I have a few questions about recommendation letter services. Can these services create letters of recommendation for different fields or industries? Also, I would like to know if they offer follow-up support if I need to submit additional documents in the future. Thank you in advance for your reply!

An online friend sent this to me. He wrote it for our website. Male and Vegan Traditionally there has been a pretty big association with eating meat and masculinity; making a man! I reckon this can be seen in Homer's book 'The Odyssey', big meat based meals and plenty of animal sacrifice. Don't know about you but I don't do much animal sacrificing these days, either for Gods or for myself. But it still happens a lot (the meat eating...), pop along to the local family barbeque and you'll probably find a whole water buffalo slowly cooking away on the spit. It’s an occasion for men to gather round with a beer and chat about 'male things'. What's all that about? Where'd …

I liked finbarrio's pictures of not being on Vegan Vacation, so here's a thread where we can all show what we are doing rather than being on Vegan Vacation. Oh, how sad! Here is me reading about Robert, Daywalker, Crystal, and Veganpotter being on Vegan Vacation. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c47/formicalinoleum/JealousofVeganVacation.jpg But I could have a Vegan Vacation of my own, right here in my apartment! Posedown time! Cricket, you are so frail compared to me! And you're not even trying with that lame pose! http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c47/formicalinoleum/PosedownCricket.jpg Maybe there is another, more worthy opponent around here... http://i24.…

(this is my long usual rambling posts) as many of you have read I'm going thru a rough phase in my life trying to figure out how Im gonna manage to live. Ive come to a rough decision but Ive decided that $10,000 more in debt to get certified isnt worth it. (in the end I will have to pay back about $8600 loan, and food, transportation, etc, not to mention I already have a couple thousand dollar loan I am paying right now.) If I really want to be certified I can spend $500 like Kalani suggested and get certified as a personal trainer that way over the internet. I already know the hands on stuff, so why go to a school for something I already know? Its just gonna waste…

Since we all seem to have an urge to create and show other people the darnest hairstyles, I think a designated topic for the purpose is needed. Here it is! I'll open the thread with a stupid hair pic of me from the 90's. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/tuukka_wtf.jpg Please, carry on. You can easily do better than this! We've had great hair pics before, for example: viewtopic.php?t=9596&start=0 (Rob) viewtopic.php?t=11811 (more Rob) viewtopic.php?t=10550&start=75 (Richard, Lean and Green) viewtopic.php?t=10105 (Vintage hair pics from Troy) ...and many others. How about piling the best pics in the same topic?

I'm going to embark on an experiment this week! I'm going to do a water fast using Psyllium husks, I've always wanted to try this as I've heard so much about how it gets the real gunk out of your intestines! and as you guys know I always like to try things for myself first before I make judgment! I'm pretty excited about this as it will be a real test of character and strength builder for me! If I get anything out I'll take a picture and post it! Her's just the big stones I got when I tried a Gall bladder flush! the coin is a quarter! http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/3269/ava0368gm.th.jpg

As most of you know, I've been working as a full-time security officer for the past 16 months. Well, it all comes to an end tomorrow. Tomorrow will be my last day at work, just 2 weeks after I was awarded Employee of the Month for the 2nd time in the past 5 months. Don't worry, I'm not getting fired or anything like that. When I was in Anaheim with Team Vega, I accepted a job working for Vega full-time as a sales rep/spokesperson. I gave my 2 weeks notice, nearly exactly two weeks ago. So my "job" will be to encourage people to eat vegan foods, and to get people/businesses to support the whole-food based products Vega offers. I'll be traveling around the United …

I love hair and great hair more than anything in the world. I miss mine so much that i'm creating this contest to fulfill the void of having lost one of my greatest assets of for the love of the game in an effort to force Robert Cheeke to cut his! > In the meanwhile, I would like to offer to the contest winner, a FREE SALADACCO (vegetable spiralizer), which essentially makes spaghetti pasta and noodles out of vegetables like Zucchini and Daikon. http://www.cookingtoys.com/media/Metro/metro-garnishing-slicer-saladacco.jpg Please submit entries within a timely fashion, say, by the second week of February? Hopefully we get a good number of selections to choose from …

Hi friends Last week i took a good look at myself and decided that since coming to Edinburgh, i have exaggerated a bit and gained too much. Plus I have an official appointment tomorrow and will soon be applying for jobs, so i don't want to look like a slob. So i decided it's time to CUT again! Do what i do best and lose some weight quickly Okay, i took some BEFORE shots for you. As you can see, it's time to do something! I tried to smile, but it turned always out as a grimace. Hello everyone, I am new to the board and probably not going to be very big contributing member but... I do independently study Epigenetics. Epigenetics refers to "overall" or rather what is being expressed, genetics. We all get what we get from our parents but different things are turned on and off throughout our lifetime. I am posting here to get an idea of how different Epigenetic qualities affect body building. I will state a few of them, and then explain some of their relations to express. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the idea of comparing them and considering what they mean. First off, frame size. Wrap your middle finger and thumb of one hand around the wris…

I may do a presentation on animals as a minority group...Does anyone know of some acts/law/policy that negatively impact animals? I'd like to incorporate veganism as one solution to the problem so if anyone has other solutions or things to say then i'd be happy if you posted them here.

Hey ya'll, Our movie Vegan Fitness - Built Naturally is now being shipped out. So for those who have ordered it (which I think will be most of you in due time) it should arrive soon. Some of you may have a silly menu screen, set up kinda like a video game with a variety of arrows to press. We're fixing that this week and will send out replacement discs. The movie is still the same, but we'll fix that menu screen to make it easier to use. Anyway, thanks again, and feel free to pick up a copy over at www.veganbodybuilding.com/products.html Thanks for the support and I hope you enjoy the movie. Be sure to watch all the credits too...some are pretty funny -Robe…

I want to enter, but don't have as many pictures/selection as Rob has yet, but I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I haven't shaved now since mid-late November, and I'm wondering whether or not I should for this contest (actually I'm wondering if I should really keep it anyway). Here's me approx. 9 minutes ago. As compared to me last April, with very short hair (which could be spiked and actually looks pretty good like that) Like Rob, I want to get into a look that will appeal to the target audience (and I'm getting tired of my "It's winter so I'm going to grow all the hair I possibly can" train of thought). It would be great if the target audienc…
