  1. guess waiting is the activity then... I would love to see some photos .
  2. Unfortunately the numbers are decreasing I think. Where are the photos from fredriks visit by the way?
  3. I dont know what it's like in estonia, but I think in sweden you could probably slip out of military service just by saying that you are vegan. But there must be some place where you can ask about the posibilities to get vegan food in the army?
  4. I would rather consider adding more sets for legs - you allready have double the volume on arms compared to legs, which might be a bit unbalanced. Cardio is allways a good idea for general health and cardio fitness. If you want to gain weight you should eat often. 1-2 very small meals only before training is definitely to little, and that's regardless of wether you are trying to gain or lose weight.
  5. Powercleans are my favourite back exercise . Second I would at the moment place DB rows perhaps.
  6. Yeah, I would avoid the smith machine too. I think you'll learn pretty quickly when you can do another rep and when you can not. If you fail on the squats, you should be able to dump the bar. Probably best to avoid getting into that situation though, cause it might not be entirely non-risky. On the bench you might have to embarrase yourself by calling for help if you fail, but that wont kill you . Other options are to roll the bar down the stomach or to tip off the weights ( if you dont use locks ) .
  7. Yeah, front squats are good both for legs and the core, as are overhead squats.
  8. Doesnt look too bad I would say, allthough meals 1 and 6 looks a bit small maybe. Maybe try to get another meal in as well, should be possible I think. I guess also the timing of the meals might be of interest?
  9. Sounds reasonable to me, you are in an age when gains come quickly. Think you should be good for around 120kg at the moment, 15kg gain in 7 month is good but does not sound impossible. As for tricks, it would probably be a good idea to have a powerlifter help you with form, can probably make quite a bit of difference. For diet, eating as much as you can would probably help .
  10. Hey, I recognize you . Welcome over here then .
  11. Do you have a reference for that? I would suggest you go to some nutritional database and check out the nutritional value of things like soybeans, chickpeas, lentils, tofu, seitan, pasta, rice and then rethink your position on this issue. If you are against killing animal, why do you think it's ok to eat meat every now and then? No offense, but how can you be a serious vegan bodybuilder when you dont know what a vegan is? Perhaps this link may be useful .
  12. Source for that? Source for that? No, it's not alright, regardless of if you call yourself vegan or not. And if you eat meat every once in a while I wouldn't call you a vegan.
  13. Hmm, sounds like a good idea. I shall try it, thanks.
  14. I think this is something that mainly needs to be considered by those affected directly, ie the workers. Of course this means the workers need to have some influence over their situation, so I guess workers right and presence of strong democratic unions might be more important parameters to look at than absolute salaries.
  15. And the point was that this is destroying the clothes-industries in those countries? At least I remember reading that somewhere.
  16. I cant really see your point, but is sounds a lot like you are excusing exploitation of people in the third world by saying it's in their culture to work hard. I assume I understood you wrong? Hmm, what do you mean?
  17. I think FormicaLinoleum made some really good points. I think the best option would be to try to buy fairtrade certified products from 3rd world countries. Like formica said, buying standard sweatshop products it seems unlikely that more than a neglible amount of the money actually does much good for the people in the country.
  18. I've had similar problems. For me it helped to avoid using a supinated grips, as well as doing a bit of lightish wrist/forearm work to strengthen the area.
  19. I also never saw any reccomendations for using a supinated grip. Anyway, I would go with an overhand grip as far as possible since it's good griptraining. When your grip cant handle the weight change to a mixed grip.
