  1. wow 12 years, that would be around $2880CAD in savings wird, im lucky i have the hair that looks good kinda messy...plus im like super hot so who cares about hair.....ahhahhahaha just kidding.
  2. ive cut my own hair the past 12 years...saved thousands.
  3. ^^^ this is a good quick answer. ive always had trouble really bulking up, since i do triathlon and the key is to be as light as possible and build long lean muscles with lots of endurance. in the off season i cut back on the cardio, increase the food load, and i can put on muscle mass no problem. right now though, its impossible for me to gain mass, burning anywhere from 2,000-5,000 calories a day.
  4. click on the link in my sig., our website has all our info on there. basically vegans and vegetarian athletic club, most of us to triathlon or marathons...with some beginners doing 5k & 10k races. we also do group events and training and potlucks, etc...we have vegan training and race gear for cycling, swimming, running, TRI, gym gear, shirts, etc...all with vegan/ animal rights quotes on the merch.
  5. thanks, you prob. are almost there, swimming you have to put in the time for, and you can fake the bike, the run is the wall though, no faking that at the end of a TRI. im doing all this with a full time job, so its possible, just takes some working around....i know when i get to ironman, i will be spent, and honestly i'm doubting because of how hard it is.....but if you put in the training, race day is "easy".
  6. i use a local protein mix from a health food store. 24 grams of protein, 100 calories. i mix with vanilla almond milk, tastes so good....the vanilla totally covers anything.

  8. what part of iowa? we have several TEAM GREEN members there!!!
  9. to worry about wheels, at this point, is not a good idea... bikes now a days come with great beginner wheelsets....if you are breaking spokes, you are doing something wrong, the road wheels on beginner bikes, at least from the "bigger" bike companies" are pretty bomb proof, unless you are hitting crazy pot holes and lots of curbs... there are many other bike co. to choose from, i wanted to give you some ideas... you should look around and post links on bikes you are interested in, and i will look at specific components, and wheels and everything and give advice.
  10. thats what actually happened to about 50% of my record collection 3 years ago when i broke up with my ex.

  12. yep also... battle royale ichi the killer audition but if you want to really be shocked... 3 extremes.
  13. yeah those are normal road bars. post pics when you decide.
  14. what do you mean by crazy handles? garneau are good....most beginner bikes are going to have the same quality of components....go and ride a few and see which one feels better. also there is no shame in picking one of those based on looks, its your bike, the more you like it the more you will ride it.
  15. i either walk to and from the gym for my warm up and cool down, or ride the bike for 10 minutes. i also do some stretching. warming up and cooling down was one of my weaknesses, and one of my goals written down this training cycle was proper warm up and cool down. once you start it becomes habit like the rest of your routine.
