  1. That's pretty impressive. If that's truely 18 miles per hour that that's amazing plus talking. DR if you see this, whats your mile time if you had to guess? I know if you can keep a 15 mph for 4 min that's a mile. 15 is flying though
  2. Yep alot of athletes and people that work out are as lean as him, but that doesn't mean they have to be that small. He just has close to no muscle. But that's how most long distance runners and cyclist look like so i don't think it has to do with the diet.
  3. I work on both max strength and muscle endurance becasue for what i want i need both. One without the other doesn't do me very good at all. Of course not everyone is into training for combat sports, but i think a mixed of both is very important for most sports, some more than others. Yes allso like veganess says the carry over is not allways great. for example i've worked out with alot of guys where i'm much stronger than them at the begining of a workout, but near the middle there a bit stronger.
  4. Yeah i did 40, but these of course were fast full reps not slower controlled like i'd normally do. But i actually did full reps unlike all the people on youtube that did like 100 quarter reps. i'm pretty close to getting up 315 as a max. I did 275 really easily, but didn't try any thing in between 275 and 315. another couple weeks and i'll get up 315. Bench is my best lift as of now, but i'm focusing more on other lifts right now like deadlift and squat becasue those are way behind.
  5. How many reps can you do with just a plate on each side. I don't do this often but maybe once a month and today i did 40 with full range reps. My goal is 100.
  6. Bruce Lee was around 5'7'' 135 so that's like you being around 160. 6' 138 is crazy small. were you around that weight before going raw? I know a couple raw foodist besides myself and haven't heard of anyone that light at that height. Do you really eat as much as you say you do? 3500 cal? I'm 5'11'' and when i was under eatting for 5 months or so becasue that's what the guru's said to do i was like 150 with probably 5 percent bf. Now i'm like 175 with like 12 bf
  7. I don't see how a raw diet diet would be a bad thing for those guys given they eat enough. Maybe it could offset some of the health effects of steroids and other bad things they use.
  8. When i was 16-18 i bulked up extremely fast and had a big growth spurt also, so i have some pretty bad strech marks on my bi's and rotator cuff area. Do any creams work? If any of you have had positive experiances with any treatments i'd love to hear about it
  9. That's crazy! Whats your height and weight? Usally when i watch strong men like WSM it seems there grips give out before every thing else Today i allmost got up 405 without grips. Not going to try it again until i can do 315 10 times at a pretty fast pace. I did 315 5 times, so i should be up to 10 by mid oct at the latest
  10. Wow your a strong guy. Isn't that about world class for a non juicer? I usally wear weight lifting gloves when lifting. That's a good idea about loading up with heavy weights and holding it. Should i use a over under grip for that? Will both my hands develope the same if i'm allways doing over under grip the same way?
  11. Yeah that's what i did today(over under grip) 365 is really heavy on my grip, but not so much on my back. I just have to get my grip caught up and no more using hooks or wraps becasue that's not a true lift. I could have maybe gotten up 385, but i thought i'd give it a week or two before i try that.
  12. Today i got up 365 and can do like 425 with hooks or wraps. Once i get up to 500 without any wraps or hooks i'll post a video. What's the most you've ever done without wraps or hooks?

  14. He didn't build on 200 calories a day he was lifting to keep as much of the muscle as possible while getting extremely shredded. He allso says in recent interviews that if he had to do it all over he would have been much more smart and healthy with his diet to get lean. You must at least get a little more than your resting daily metabalism to gain. you can't gain on a deficit of calories it's impossible i don't care what diet your own. everyone has different needs but on average a man of 170 pound of lean mass would need 1,700 calories just to maintain strength and size. that's if your not buring extra calories from activity. if your active and lifting hard a 170 pounder would need probably need around 3k to grow.

  16. So is He just doing like Fruit Juice from a juicer? or blended up fruits? I think it would be crazy to live on just fruit juice without the pulp and the extra's for a extended period of time. Do that for a a couple years and you won't have teeth and will weigh about 75 pounds. A least you'll be spirtual lol and maybe have only like 5 years left detoxing. Your not fully detoxed untill you no longer have teeth and your a full diabetic.

Thanks buddy....yes I'm very happy, things are going great, I've moved on from fruitarianism to liquidarianism/breatharianism which means I have to learn new things, I've been working very hard and I'm having a blast with my training, I'm also achieving goals that I never thought possible! B And What is that?
  19. I maxed out at 220 pounds. And my height is 5 foot 5 inches. Then over the span of a year or two I dropped down to 130 pounds. Now I weigh 145 pounds. I added 15 pounds of vegan( Not sure if it's muscle or fat ) At least your heading in the right direction. Now you just need to add somre muscle

  21. I've tried just about every diet out there and many different versions of the raw diet and havn't got the reason that i'm looking for. Now i'm going to try the 811 diet with just raw unprocessed organic fruits and veggies. The only problem is the cost. Before i consumed very little fruit so my diet was very cheap. I'd get over 4,000 calories daily on about 600 per month which is great. the only way i can get enough calories on 811 is oviosly a ton of fruit, but the only fruit that is cheap enough for me is Bananas and oranges. Would it be a problem if i eat only oranges, bananas and a large variety of greens? it's every that or get a variety and really undereat and witheraway. main goal is improve my health, but also looking to keep improving athletic proformance.
  22. what's your strength like? you probably don't lift that often since your a cyclist, but since going raw how has your strength changed? me personally i'm much more impressed by strength that size. i rarely see guys in the gym putting up much more than they look like they should be able to

  24. But there's no reason why a raw foodist shouldn't look as good or better than any natural bb or natural athlete. There are many high school kids that are natural that are bigger, stronger and have a much better phyique than him.
