  1. Oh wow. Troy's sunglasses are so cool that Large Hardon Collider comes second, and it uses liquid helium!
  2. Welcome, Erik! It might be useful to know that some of Troy's superb progress is because of his background in resistance training. Muscle memory helps quite a bit gaining back the muscle you've had before. Don't get depresse even if you'll end up having a progress like the rest of us.
  3. Welcome, Danny! Your workout plan looks good. Work out on large muscle groups, concentration on proper lifts. I am expecting great results! Remember to eat too much!

    Introduction

Welcome, Erik! Don't worry about losing all the progress. Muscle memory will help you to get the muscles back really fast once you've had them before. Believe me! I think www.veganessentials.com sells at least some Vega products. It is a vegan owned company which is really important to me when I do shopping!
  5. Welcome! Hopefully you'll find enough information here to change your diet! Remember to ask if you have any questions! There are loads of great ppl here!
  6. Hey man, you're about the same size as I am. Also the same age! Looking good! Good luck with your diet change! Just keep eating LOTS of food and you'll continue getting proper gains!
  7. Great progress! HCPG looks even better in the real world (we were in Vegan Fitness Week together). Looking forward to seeing you develop! Also, neat deadlifting!
  8. Yo dude, your body proportions are so much better than mine! Really slim waistline and wide shoulders! Looking great, but I think you could use even more mass. Otherwise you'll end up in the cover of Men's Health instead of Testosterone Nation.
  9. Looking good Jukka! Biceps are looking good, as does your arms in general. Remember, biceps are not among the largest muscles in general so if you want to gain mass, pump up lats, legs, butt, triceps, shoulders... well, everything! Good luck getting all that food in you! Hopefully you'll be heavier than me after you finish your bulking.
  10. @ Richard: I really think you love your balls. How about giving them hyposensitization? After a while they will be able to take punches without any harm! @ Hilary: thanks again mate! @ FruitarianMatt: I have to ask Spug where he got it. Shouldn't be too hard to find. @ xzebrax: Thanks! The other guy is Spug_myers from VF, he is also registered here with some weird name, I think it sounded like spanish. He can squat about 440lbs and dl about 550lbs. @ Devil's Plaything: Thanks thanks thanks! I hope I can reach the potential I got. @ xjohanx: Although the scale said almost 180 lbs yesterday my powerbelly isn't really in that good condition. Just watch. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/tummy.jpg The mess behind me isn't mine. And it's only temporary but I didn't want to wait for days for my GF to finish stuffing her belongings in her new desk. I don't have that many places where I can put the camera with timer.
  11. I strongly oppose this forum becoming a dirt digging political tool against Barack and I hope the moderators will put this thread together with the other one started by veginator. You REALLY have to pick between 2 candidates. If you tell every piece of shit you can find about Barack, do the same thing to McCain. Geez, your country really needs a legislation like in Finland. We have 2 stage presidential election. If no candidate gets more than 50 % of votes in the first round, we'll have a round 2 between the two candidates who got most votes in round 1. That way we can freely vote for our REAL favourite in the first round and after that choose between the lesser evil.

  15. I disagree with that gas price comparison bulls**t. Do you see a tipping point in 2006? Well, in 2006 gas price increases halted for a moment. http://www.ezimages.net/upload/ESISUBS/Gas_Prices.JPG Gas prices rise because price of crude oil goes up. Not because of democrats or republicans.
  16. U gotta check out Markus Rühl. He's the biggest bbuilder EVER! http://www.bodybuildingblog.co.uk/images/markus-ruhl/markus-ruhl.jpg # Off Season Weight: 320-340 lb. (145.14-154.22 kg) # Competition Weight: 275-285lb. (130.4 kg) Cutler is small compared to him.
  17. Welcome, bruce! It seems like it's really easy for you to burn fat (since you lost so much weight so fast! Congratulations!!!). If you want to gain muscle, check a couple of things: 1. Resistance training. 3-4 sets per move and 5-10 reps per set should be ok for a beginner. You can start with full body workout 3 times a week and you should be fine. 2. Eat enough protein and otherwise check that you eat a bit more calories than you consume. Also, remember to get carbs and protein right after workout, preferably in liquid form. 3. Rest. If you sleep enough you'll grow well. Good luck with gains!
  18. I think Octo is way ahead others in terms of both definition and mass but there are loads of great bodies! I think many ppl will have votes since not all consider most muscular as the best possible body type. My problem is that I'm neither big nor shredded so I fall between the tight guys and those who really have huge guns. I'm already bulking for the next years competitions! Anyway, great contenders here! Good luck everybody!
  19. I would be superb if there were thumbnails available, for example max ~ 200pixels wide or tall. Or then the contenders can pick 1 picture which they want to be visible in the first post. That would make comparison a lot easier. This one is tough.
  20. When does the voting start? It's taking forever! Superb calves, veganmomma!
  21. Welcome! When you are active enough and get good results, some of your friends start training with you. Believe me! Good luck with your lifestyle change!
  22. Welcome! Is your son also a veggie? It would be superb to see pics or description of your progress. You can compete against each other too. Have fun with lifting!
  23. Welcome! If you need help, it's a good idea to start an online log. Tell us how you work out and what you eat and ppl will tell you how to enhance certain fields. It's great!
