  1. I agree, more porn mods are needed if forum soft can't be modded to prevent these bots from posting in the first place. If no more mods, then: - A written calculation test in registration, helps a lot. - Pre-modded posts for all the new users who have sent less than 10 posts. - Something else super awesome.
  2. Thu Mar 27 - Deep squats, 10 + 3 x 8 reps. I'm learning it allright. - Lateral raises 3 x 10 reps with dumbbells - Bent-over rows 3 x 10-15 reps I also ate loads of food, mostly black eyed peas, full grain pasta, chick beans and kidney beans. Tomorrow my legs and back will hurt as I really pushed the squats to the limit today but I don't mind. It's growing pain. I'm learning to like squats more and more as I get familiar with the technique.
  3. A lot of mass gain in arms and chest, and you're starting to have a nice V-shape so lats are developing too. Great work! How is your body weight doing? I'd say a couple lbs up at least.

    Hi

Wow... I don't know what to say, sounds like you've had quite a hard time. :/ Welcome anyway! There are great vegan protein sources available in nearly any store. I think the easiest way is to go nuts. Peanuts, cashews, pistachios ect... If you really want to learn about healthy lifestyles, this is the place to be. There are quite a few raw food experts here from all over the world, and the raw food section is worth checking out.
  6. Tue Mar 25: A really long day. Rest but had a superb eating day. I stuffed so much food in me. Evening weight 78,5 kg and that's highest ever. Wed Mar 26 I got home after work & other stuff at 10 pm. Just hade some kettlebell action: - Bicep curls 4 x 8 reps - Bench press 3 x 20 reps - Shoulder press 3 x 12-13 reps I had no energy left after such a long day... oh I forgot, I also had 2 hours breakdance. I was told today again that I've grown a lot. I love to hear it, you never get tired hearing something like that.
  7. I've gained another 2 lbs in just ½ month. At this rate, I'll be slightly overweight at the end of the summer! (and that body weight increase is REAL increase, measured in the morning with no food in me, evening weight after eating a lot is 173lbs and morning weight empty is 168lbs -> up from 154lbs striking 14lbs) When I see people who I haven't seen in a while, the first impression is something like "Holy s***!" if I'm wearing anything tight. Some people poke me with fingers for some reason. Also, many people joining here all the time, I'm really happy about that. Also, it's quite fun to be at work at the moment.
  8. Welcome! I'm sure you give a great example to your kids. Also, it's very nice to see people who have been vegan for a long time!
  9. WOW ROBERT! You look bigger than ever! Holy s**t, that's maybe the best pic of you I've ever seen. Top 10 at least!
  10. Welcome! It will be nice to see how you are doing since you've just started. It's wise to start a food blog if you need advice on your diet. Or you can just tell us what you eat and someone will tell you what you can do better.
  11. 2,5kg in 2 months would mean 15kg (33 lbs) in a year which should be more than enough. Remember that you've increased your body weight 5 % in 2 months which is very good. I'm not doing any faster than that and I'm very very glad with the results. It takes time, just keep working really hard. Remember to push yourself to the limit every time you work out, don't stop when it comes hard. Stop when you are absolutely unable to do even 1 more rep. In a year you'll be a lot bigger at that pace. Trust me!
  12. I think you have really nice training program, front squats ftw! Something I wonder: If you can do pullups 4 x 10 (which is nice ), do you have to work at all to do 5 x 5? I think Also, bench on mon+tue and thu+fri -> wouldn't work for me at all. Trying to do bench press 2 days in a row would hurt like hell and I would be able to do about at 50 % power on the second day. But if it works for you (at least you're growing allright ) then go for it.
  13. on Sat Mar 22 I continued with bicep curls + push presses in the evening. Sun Mar 23: Rest, too tired and some headache but lots of food, a huge amount of black eyed peas ect.. Mon Mar 24: Back in action! - Bench press, a bit longer sets @ 70 kg - Deadlifts @ 110 kg, in the first set I took 10 reps which should mean a 1 rep max @ about 150 kg. - Bent-over rows, 4 sets @ 50, 60, 70, 70 kg barbell - Lateral raises 3 sets of 10-12 reps dumbbells - Bicep curls 5 x 8-10 reps @ ~ 41 kg (90 lbs) curl bar - Shoulder press 4 x 10-12 reps kettlebells Now that I've destroyed most of my body I gotta have at least 3 lbs of food!
  14. Welcome! Great introduction! You really seem to know what you're doing and I'm sure you'll have great results in no time! Please share info of your progress as you grow stronger and healthier than ever. You have all the ingredients put together already!
  15. Welcome doolali! You'll be amazed of how nice people we have here. Don't hesitate asking any questions, someone will surely know the answer.
  16. I like many other boards but somehow I find the people here simply fantastic. Really supportive, friendly, open minded.. The motivation you get here is priceless. The amount of wisdom here makes Yoda jealous. There has been only one topic (which was deleted I think) which had some bad feelings as far as I've been here. Like "That guy" (the finance dude from the 80's) from Futurama would say: "Awesome. Awesome to the max."
  17. Wow! You're tight! I love the V-shape, your back is really well formed. Also, the mass gain is really impressive. You're a real motivator. Thanks!
  18. Fri Mar 21: Rest Sat Mar 22: I'll train more in the evening, just took some bench press in the morning when my father was visiting me. NEW PB! 90 kg! (~198,5lbs) A slow and clean lift, no hazzle.
  19. Wow, these are interesting! Talking about electric cars, Tesla Roadster is now in regular production, FINALLY! http://www.teslamotors.com/media/press_room.php?id=841 They're gonna make ~ 900 of those this year I guess, which is a lot. Also, I am a HUGE smart car fan. I had a smart Roadster-Coupe (~ 45 mpg) before and now I drive a smart cdi which is powered by 0,8 litre Mercedes-Benz common-rail turbo intercooler diesel and achieves 70mpg in combined drive. Now there's an electric one available in parts of Europe! It is even more ecological! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1p2FPRZRLI
  20. Thu Mar 20 I think I really had a great training on tuesday since I am still sore, but I still worked out a bit. since my legs were fine already. - Deep front squats 3 sets 10-12 reps - Deep squats 3 sets 5 reps I truly suck at squats. Well, I think the only way I can make things better is to train more. I'm learning all the time but I still find deep squats very hard. They make me exhausted immediately. I had loads and loads of peanuts today, at least I've had more calories than I've burnt... gotta eat more before I go to bed though.
  21. Hey ChaserHUN! How is your bulking process going? Still a long way to summer... but it would be nice to hear if you're growing already. My GF saw your pics and said you're cute. Maybe I should be jealous.
  22. One more: the prices of meat & dairy products are going sky high and the trend isn't going to change in the near future. The prices of soy/lentils/beans/ect. are still low and it's going to be more and more affordable to be a vegan compared to an omnivore in the future. I love the fact that I'm making similar gains (or even better) as people who are spending huge amounts of money in meat & dairy products with a fraction of price while still buying sustainably produced food!
  23. tuc is really good at eating. (just reviving the thread )
  24. Welcome, Terilynn! I think Lean & Green may be the best person to help you out. He has been HUGE and in really good trim while being mostly and/or fully on raw diet. Just look at the Before & After section to see what L&G has look like while being raw, I think that is a perfect answer for this: See for yourself. I really want to see raw foodies succeed, hope you'll have great results like many of us here already have! (although I'm not on raw diet myself)
  25. Wed Mar 19 - 2 hours breakdance After that I got home and realized that my back, legs, butt and triceps are too sore to train (yesterday I gave them major punishment). - Bicep curls 5 x 8 reps with curl bar - Lateral raises 4 x 8 reps with dumbbells Then I ran out of body parts which weren't sore from training and started eating. I managed to stuff loads of food in me. For the first time in my life, my evening weight was over 78kg (172 lbs). We'll see how long it will take until I start chacing the Team 200! (to be honest, I had to help with water to get my body weight over 78kg a bit and it won't be there tomorrow but I'm getting heavier all the time because 3 months ago it would have been impossible to be anywhere close to that weight even with a gallon of extra water)
