  1. I have a very weak lower back and as I am using heavier weights now I need to work out with a belt. It helps me a lot. My question is: how tight has the belt to be? I wear it tight, but still comfortable. Does it has to be as tight as possible?
  2. I am not sure about it, because in The Netherlands we have CIDER, which is a low alcoholic drink, and apple vinegar. I have never seen apple cider vinegar here. I guess it is the same, but maybe someoneelse knows it for sure.
  3. Hi Robert, from what you have written I understood that you have more shirts, which are not on the product page. Does the link show all available shirts?
  4. Rob, send me pics of the shirts you have. Daywalker, what's the price of the calendar?
  5. I still have some old leather shoes and an old leather sofa, which I would never throw away just because it is leather. What a waste indeed. I prefer to wear and use leather things till they are not good enough anymore to be used. Otherwise I would have to buy new things. This is wasting money and polluting the envoirnment again. For ethical reasons I don't see the need of getting rid of old leather stuff.
  6. Sure, there is always an excuse to find
  7. NEW PR !!!!! 2.08 !!! Come on you so called bodybuilders and strong guys. Little Nobbi is challenging you ! Daywalker - be afraid... be very afraid. I am training hard !
  8. Thanks, but this is not in a row. I can only do 5 in a row, then 4 / 4 / 4 /4 / 3 / 3 / 3..... I try to improve to do at least 10 chin ups in a row and 100 or more in one session. These are close grip chin ups by the way. i don't know how many I can do with wide grip.
  9. I don't know how to improve, but keep trying. I could do only 1 pull up some weeks ago. Now I can do 50 within one session, but only max. 5 reps in a row.
  10. That explains your location below your avatar 'I'm behind you'
  11. It doesn't only seem long, it IS long. The last seconds are a torture for my little hands. I really have small hands and short fingers for a man. Not using it as an excuse, but maybe I could get more seconds if I would have longer fingers. I try again tonight, but I guess 1.50 is my limit. If I can reach it at all.
  12. New PR: 1.43 ! I use a close grip, shoulder wide, feet up.
  13. Fantastic pics! I love the first one most.
  14. I have great respect for guys like him. He must have a huge willpower and discipline. But... is this still pretty?
  15. We all have to masturbate though. Well we don't have to, but if we don't, then we just have wet dreams. ???? Wet dreams if you do not masturbate? I've never had wet dreams (poor me... ). But I guess this is a matter of a too early ejaculation problem and not because of not masturbate.
  16. just read it on www.mikemahler.com "If you take something to be the absolute truth and cling to it to no avail, when the truth comes in person and knocks on your door, you will not open it."
  17. Wooow, what a compliment. Thanks veggymeggy! I think I am far away from the body he has, but I guess I have the sweeter face And - eeeh - Richard !!! What are you doing??????
  18. I am a person, who stores easily fat. After advice of some guys in this forum I did increase my intake up to 3000 kcal a day. It didn't help me gaining extra muscles, but I only get fatter Now I am back at 2000-2500 kcal. The problem is that I need lots of carbs to have enough energy for weight lifting. Carbs are - as far as I have heard - worse than fat if you try to keep your bodyfat under control. My question is: how long does it take to transform carbs into fat? Is this a matter of hours? Or immedeatley if you don't use them? Most people advice to take the biggest part of the carbs during the first half of the day. What if I take them 2 or 3 hours before weight training? If I add 30-45 minutes cardio after that, the carbs shouldn't have any chance to get stored as fat, right?
  19. Richard, as far as I understand from the posts in this forum you and Topher (and surely others too) like Hard Rock music. What if you would need a (I don't know the English word) hearing tool, because your ears have sufferd from the horrible noise you are producing with your band? Or by listening too often and too loudly to hard rock music? This tool has to be produced, which pollutes the envoirnment... Does this make a bad person of you? I like to ride a motor bike just for fun. What if I loose control, get an accident and would need help in a hospital. Who has to wait for surgery? Me, because it is a self-caused emergency or somebody else with a 'normal' problem? Am I a bad person? What about the bodybuilders here? They are vegan. Bravo. But when Robert is speaking about 4000-5000 kcals he needs a day or up to 300 grams of protein... To build up your body in a NOT natural way and consuming food of 2-3 persons... Is this good or bad? Not eating meat doesn't make you good! We all are bad people in a way, which cannot be avoided if you want to make part of our cruel society. I worry about the fact that people are using the words good and bad too often. Things are sometimes just like they are. I don't have to judge all the time. By the way a fat meat eater is ing to me, but it doesn't make him or her a bad person. I know fat people, who are more active with human rights or animal rights than I am. From a good / bad point of view Robert is a bad boy by consuming too much food, which he could better send to Africa... But his site about veganism is a very good thing showing other people an alternative lifestyle. I try to see and appreciate the 'good' things in a person.
  20. What about second hand stuff? If you are not able to find the right gifts you could give bubble bears, which you buy on e-bay for example. You wouldn't buy directly from the companies you want to avoid. Also, second hand goods save the envoirnment. Depending on what you are looking for you can often find goods, which are almost new.
  21. That's definitly a very good point, too!
  22. Daywalker, this is hard to believe. To loose B12 within six months and getting even a deficiency. Our body stores B12 and supplies you (depending on your supplements and nutrition) for 1 to 3 years with B12. Getting weak... I think this is normal when you are switching to a completely different diet, but it shouldn't take so long. I assume that you have not eaten enough. Getting sick could also be normal as I have heard of the detoxing effect of a raw food diet. It can bring up old toxics or whatever to the surface. Also this should disappear after a while, but, depending on your former lifestyle, it could take weeks to years. I have been completely raw for 4 months and lost 10kgs fat. Unfortunately I am not strong enough, because I like to eat also cooked food and I am not a big fan of (raw) veggies. I never felt weak. I would say even stronger. Toxic effects I couldn't discover them. Maybe I was already clean from the inside I still do believe from what I have read that it is bullshit to be afraid of not getting enough protein. Figures like 200, 300 or even more grams protein a day.... I still do believe that the biggest part is just leaving your body with your urine. Even if you want to build muscles a balanced diet and smart training should be better than a high protein intake. But of course I am not a doctor. On the other hand you look absolutely great, so your current diet must be perfect. Which makes me also believe, that there is no single diet fullfilling the needs of all persons. For myself I can tell, that a recommended diet of at least 3000 kcal is a big problem for me. I have followed some advices in this forum and did increase my intake. Big mistake. I am going back to 2000-2500 kcals because my body looks worse than some weeks ago I am going back to a raw basic diet with some additional cooked food.
  23. Today 1.24 ! What a fu**ing painfull contest is this I have never done this before and I couldn't believe how difficult this is. By the way... does this have any training effect also or is this just for fun?
