  1. What up with the ? 2nd? and whats rubmaps? Yes still following. This is the most exciting world cup ever! Costa Rica yesterday! Nigeria put up a good fight today, France just too strong. USA tomorrow vs Belgium. Im not counting us out yet!
  2. Cardio is good for your over-all body conditioning and health. Limit it, just get that heart rate up, 20 mins is probably too long, I'd say keep it in your routine but cut it down to 10 mins.
  3. Crunches build the muscles, muscles will increase metabolism and help burn that fat but you need some cardio to help you burn that fat. Yeah its too bad you can just press a button remove fat from this place please.
  4. Just eat watermelon... hahaha people and their need to supplement everything. Dang when its hot out I feel like I could eat a whole watermelon by myself in one sitting.
  5. I thought this was a joke at first haha. Timing is important in jokes and nut soaking. Dont over soak.

  7. Swap the dogs and the tofurky for real whole foods that are less processed, your body will thank you.

  10. Thanks for the info Kelle, that all makes sense. Oregon is a lot like that too. In Portland its pretty great, but the further away from the city you get the more redneck it becomes, but there are a few hippy towns to balance it out a little like Eugene, Corvallis, Bend and Ashland.

  13. Awesome A-dubs, welcome! I would get Roberts Cheeke's book and any of Brendan Braziers books. I would also browse the training journals section for ideas. Post specific questions to other peoples threads, you;ll have better luck getting a response. Also if you didnt see it, there is a search key in the upper right hand corner you can search for topics you are interested in and see whats been discussed in the past here.
  14. Pretty much. Some people also track what they are eating like a meal plan. Browse other peoples journals in the training journal section for ideas.
  15. My team is now 3-0 we won last week 4-2 and I had 1 goal and 1 assist. We play again tomorrow. Anyone know much about fatigue vs training when you have a job where you have to be on your feet all day or walk long distances or something similar and how to work your training and rest around that? Vegan BBQ with sweet potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, and edamame salad. Boom. Today is vegan pizza day. I have about 3 hours left in the day to go grab me a slice!

  21. Hi and welcome. I agree. You don't need shakes, you really don't need as much protein as you may think even for building and you can get tons of protein from plants. That being said if you're going to do shakes Vega is my recommendation, best ingredients and best taste. There are links all over this site for places that sell it. The veganprotein.com people are awesome, the owner is a great guy and a friend of Robert's, they are both vegan body builders as well as the owners partner and wife, she is also a vegan body builder as well.
