Its not as simple as weight vs weight, its weight distribution, the muscles that you are using can vary in different exercises as well as how you are using them. I think body weight training is very important to over all muscle conditioning.

Sanne, you havent posted in forever, how is everything going?
-
How have you been?

Check out the article I posted called bigorexia. There is a complex in society for men to want to be huge as of recent years. Body shaming sucks either way. Often its due to people being insecure about themselves.

So what did your debate entail?

Great to hear that you're back and that a lot of good things are going on for you!

Thoughts on the bigorexia complex. I hope you all are into lifting for the health benefits and not just because TV and magazine are telling us we need to be huge. http://time.com/2865172/bigorexia-and-the-male-quest-for-more-muscle/

Nutrition Question - Can I see what you typically eat?
C.O. replied to CrystalIda's topic in Health & Nutrition Programs
I recently saw an article that claimed a variety in diet is not good because of microbacteria but I need to track it down. I always preach variety. Anyone know more about this or have seen the article/study? -
Anyone tried those Veggs?

try searching bulking, bulk, bulking recipes, etc in the search button in the upper right hand corner of this forum. Also Robert Cheeke's book has some great stuff on what to eat when bulking.

Paneer is cheese/dairy based isn't it? That is a good idea for a substitute actually tofu instead of paneer in Indian food. I'll definitely try that and let you guys know how it is.

Great topic. Rest, sleep, downtime dont get enough attention. Did you try using the search key in the upper right corner when you searched or just browsed around?

What do you think of Vega over all? I like it. Have you read Robert Cheeke's book or Brendan Brazier's books? -
Consult a physician not just the forum. Be safe, keep pushin' hard

Found a new good flavor combo, Falafel and cocktail sauce. My new soccer team won again yesterday now we are 2-0, we won 3-1 yesterday and I had 1 assist. Today is an arms and core day. -
You got your wish. Portugal got crushed. I couldnt find any info on vegan players. Found this blog: http://lasvegas.ulitzer.com/node/3105389 Im looking foward to US vs Ghana tonight! So far Columbia, Costa Rica, and Ivory Coast have been my favorites to watch. Yaya Toure is a beast.

Nice lots of people ask about that, its a trouble area for most and very difficult to target for many.

Hi, I would suggests posting specific questions on other people's threads, try people that are on here often like in the training journals section. Youre more likely to get feedback that way.

Hi and welcome! My advice is set measurable goals, track your progress, and hold yourself accountable. Create a training journal in that section of the forums here and take a look at others for workout routine ideas. Some people, not me, haha, but some are very thorough on listing exercises, reps, meal plans, all of that.
