  3. What is Considered a World Class Deadlift raw? Are there natural records? Anyone hit 700?
  4. I've heard that the lower your body fat gets in a healthful way the higher the natural test levels go. Does anyone know of any studies/ articles on this? If one went from 20 percent bf to 8 percent how much would test rise?
  5. I think alot of people struggling to gain strength/size blame it on being a vegan. The average meat eater male's lean mass is probably around 130 so it's not the meat that is doing all the work. Meat eater or vegan you have to give your body a reason to grow and that happens with alot of hard work something most don't know how to do or won't do. You would eat steak or day long but that isn't going to be of any benefits without the training I've been lifting off and on for 7 years and my gains are as good or better then any time ever. I have a buddy that couldn't get strength gains on a omni diet and now for the first time in his life he's getting some results.
  6. The vegan diet is the cheapest kind of diet there is without a doubt. I eat over 3K a day all organic and spend 300 a month on food and if i had to i could drop it to 150. Meat and dairy is extremely expensive. As far as losing weight goes, eat more carbs
  7. There is no such thing as a competely safe drug. The more drugs you take of any kind the worse. That said i doubt that Steroids when taken in a good dose and not over doing it with the more the better mentallity probably isn't worse then taking High BLood pressure meds or Cholesteral and surely not worse then Anti- Depressants. ME personally I'm curious what i can achive naturally, so i'll never use.

  9. Fat is Essential no doubt, but Anything over 20 percent fat is not a good idea. I think 10-15 percent fat is perfect, that is if it's good fat not Animal fats or isolated oils. Just real whole foods in there natural state

  12. You may need surgery down the raod, but there's no way to know for sure until you get really lean. It's obvious in those pics that your still around 40 percent Bf. Once you get to like 10-12 percent Bf and still have extra skin then i'd say yes. A absolute must is for you to build up your lean mass(muscle) so that you won't lose muscle as your losing fat. A healthy diet plus lifting/ cardio will get you looking good. That guy in the pic probably isn't in the cards, but a soild phyique anyone can get
  13. Spring water that you got straight from the source is best Next best probably would be filtered water you can get at any health food store. Alot better then bottled and alot cheaper.

  15. Yes, we know... you say this on any thread involving protein. And I feel like a broken record when I say... no one was asking you whether or not you feel it is healthy. You've lectured us on the evils of protein a million times... we get where you stand. I very much agree with what xzebrasx said. You can acheive the same results/effect with slightly higher carbs than that. You can get lean on the Coffee and cigerett diet. Is it a good idea? No just like eatting a unhealthy diet like that other then for very short periods of time to trim a little extra fat for comp. besides that it would not be needed for anyone. Anyone loses weight with proper diet and exercise

  17. I think Low carb diets are very dangerous and Unhealthy. It's mainly Meat and Daily industry propaganda telling people you need massive amount of animal proucts and that you only need little amounts of carbs. You need a good amount of carbs to be healthy and more so if your active. Anyone can get lean with a balanced diet with carbs being higher and fat/ protein being around the same. The only time i could see going on a low carb diet a good idea is if your a body builder and are all ready lean at 10 percent fat and looking to cut that extra 5 percent. Keep in Mind though being below like 6 percent protein isn't healthy, but people have to things that are unhealthy to compete in alot of sports. It's funny on hear alot of people talk bad about raw food diet being radical and all that(which i agree with to a certain degree) yet people will Follow a vegan Version of akins diet which is just or more radical in a different direction

  19. That would be 120 calories from carbs, so if you were getting 2K then that would be a little over 5 percent of calories from carbs. 95 percent from Protein and fat. That sounds like a recipe for disaster
  20. This is absolutly impossible as a vegan unless of course your diet is made up 100 percent of processed foods and maybe a little veggies. very bad idea following this diet for any extended period of time and even any amount of time imo
  21. Yeah humans as a whole are one messed up animal and religion is a big part of that. The countries/ groups of the past and present would have a very hard time trying to get enough willing fighters if they didn't tell them stuff about how god blesses them or if they die they get virgins and all that. MY whole thing is believe what you want to believe(as stupid and irrational as it is) as long as it doesn't hurt/ effect other people/ Animals/ places/ things
  22. somthing around 70-15-15 is best in my opinion and that where you fall if your eatting whole foods and not over doing it on fat sources. I'm probably 70-20-10 right now.
  23. Orthorexia is a Term used by people to label people that are very diet concious as radical or obsesive. This is used by many people to try and justifly there own unhealthy habits. Humans have to eat, so it's crazy and suicidal to choose poor quality toxic food when we could eat the best quality food. Self Destructive behavior is never a good thing in any form and diet is no different. The difference with bad nutrition compared to other negitive vices is that it's so socially accepted. When people have a Meth Addiction they keep it hidden unless there with other users. If your a acoholic you try and keep hidden. With bad food it's so accepted that your a werido and different if your eatting naturally. That said people can go overboard and become obsesive with any thing and diet is no different. Diet shouldn't be something one thinks about all day and worry about it. I don't see why someone would worry about a healthy diet. I think the worrying should be for the people eatting Mc D's and washing it down with a milk shake and coke and having a smoke after worlds
