I ate everything not nailed down and got to 255lbs. The one on the right was taken today at around 205 and is the result of an ovo-lacto vegetarian lifestyle. Can't wait to see where being a full on vegan will take me. I guess you could say I went from an infantry "tank" to a cruiser "tank."

This is an idea I got from a Swedish forum with a thread called Dagsformstråden (basically today's shape thread) where people post recent pictures of their physique and other people say nice things . It's not necessarily a progress thread, you can post pictures once a month, once a week, once a day or even one in the morning and then one in the evening. People who have their own progress threads can post pictures both there and here. The pictures don't have to be bodybuilding style, you can have clothes on but it's good if you show some muscle of course. You can def post lifting pics and/or videos too. So what do you think? Here are some pics of my progress. I don't have a training schedule or a nutrition plan and I only used a bench press, a barbell and 2 x 35lbs girya weights for the first 2 months. After that I've also used dumbbells and a curl bar but nothing else. I'm 184cm tall (approximately 6 feet) and because of it I've always looked very skinny since I'm lightweight, baby . I thought I'd start a thread with some photos of my progress. I really am just starting and at the moment I'm focusing on improving my fitness through swimming. I also do some work on my arms, shoudlers and abs with resistance bands, push ups, sit ups, pull ups etc.. just bodyweight exercises for now. I got inspired looking at some of yours progress photos here!! I'm putting my first before photos and hereby promise to put some new soon, hopefully looking more muscular:) too bad i don't have photos from a month ago, when I started going to gym:( I already made some progress in hands and back, but i want to do something with legs. Any suggestions, best exercises for butt and legs? I'm getting fatter and loving it! I'm up to 190 pounds (20 more than last summer) and I'm losing some of the definition I've always had! You've all seen my "before" photos and many other photos from the past decade so these are the March 2008 bulking progress pics. I don't think I look all that big, but I'm getting thicker and thought I'd share a few photos. Some photos from this week. They will also serve as the "before photos" for my 2nd figure competition next Spring. First competition didn't go well...so I've bulked hard.... gained 20 lbs in 10 weeks. Right now I'm 10 lbs bigger than I peaked at for the last show and its just the beginning of hard training after a couple easy months to get my sleep back on track. Currently 140lbs. Back in 2007 I decided to start losing weight. I weighed in at 270 lbs and joined the Biggest Loser online club. I got down to 219 lbs but shot back up due to working 3 jobs and being around bad choices. November 2009 I decided enough was enough and I decided to go vegetarian. I was tired of feeling sick all the time. I tried the 21 day vegan kickstart in Jan 2010 but it didn't quite stick.... So in April 2010 I tried it again and it stuck!! Okay, So as some of you may know from my intro, I was very much involved in fitness and on went on the bb scene for a hot minute a long time back. The last 1 3/4 yrs, I was basically an absentee from the gym and the last year, I did zero, so I consider myself starting like a noob very out of shape. Although I've been going to the gym for 6 years I've never had any goals but I decided 6 weeks ago to attempt to gain weight and put on muscle. Inspired by Robert's book. 6 years ago I was 115 lbs (5 ft 7 tall) I went up to 130ish quickly when I started working out but then when I became vegan 3 years ago I lost it all again and have struggled to gain any weight. This was the only full length shot of the before. That was the weight I was on any given week. I started the exercise in mid July and eating small, frequent meals. So 5.5 months and more to go! Hi all. This is my before/now (a couple of weeks ago). The first pic was taken in January/2008 and the other two are from March(08.). I have no before pics of my legs I don't look huge now but at least there's less fat and they're better shaped muscles. This is what happened in 2 months of training and vegetarian diet.
